my girlfriend got me a pair of the sandal ones. they look OK and are pretty comfortable, aside from the blisters that the canvas strap is currently causing. they're khaki colored though. yuo wouldn't catch me dead in the clog style ones or anything in the ridiculous colors that they come in.

I would hope to get a lot more than Phil Hughes for Sheets. I would rather have the draft picks probably. That said, I really think that if this team wants to compete in the next several years, we really need to re-sign Sheets. Guys like that are not easily replaceable. -

I just wanted to jump in and say that the Branyan homer of Nathan on Saturday night was one of the most exciting things i've ever seen at Miller Park. Just unbelievable. Too bad we couldn't pull that game off, but that's a discussion for another thread. -

I was at the Sox/Twins game on Sunday when Slowey got absolutely lit up. If Bush can keep the ball down and in the park, I like our chances. -
the Braves pen is miserable. even if they somehow regain the lead, i doubt they'll be able to hold it.

just to make everyone feel better about our bullpen, Billy Wagner blew his 3rd straight save opp today. Cost Johan a win when he pitched a gem.

ugh, the Braves had the bases loaded with zero outs and the K back to back. don't have a good feeling about that game. I really don't understand what Ned is doing here with Mota.

well the good news is that i decided to start Oswalt for my fantasy team so at least I can get something out of this disaster. I much rather would have gotten a W, but Ned apparently had other ideas.

I love how Ned always will throw a rookie into the fire like this. Balfour late in a tie game last year, Vinny Rotino getting his major league debut AB in the bottom of the 9th down 1 2 years ago. I don't get it! What could he possibly be saving Counsel for???

the amount of strikeouts the bottom half of this lineup could produce is mind boggling. still glad to see Hall at 2B.

it's weird, i've tried closing all the vents that i would think might steal air from my room's, but nothing has worked. I just put a call into the landlord so hopefully they can get it going again, otherwise i'm going to just bite the bullett and drop $40 on the booster and hope it works. -
hopefully he can find a little more consistency because it looks like when he's on he is dominant. he's really the only legit pitching prospect that I know of so i'm rooting for him big time (as i'm sure we all are) to make it to the show.

how could Hall be upset with moving to 2B? He wanted more at bats, well there they are. Hasn't he always said that his natural position is 2B anyways?

My bedroom gets minimal airflow through the vent so it's incredibly hot and stuffy even when the downstairs is cool and comfortable. I was searching around on home depot's website and found a thing called an AC booster. it pretty much looks like a fan that you put over the vent cover and it says that it draws out more air. The reviews i've read have been pretty mixed, has anyone ever tried one of these? how did it work? Thanks!
