anyone else notice how much better tgony zuniga has been since he got to AAA...says something about the Southern league vs. the pcl, doesn't it???

I'm with you socal, but you gotta refesh your memory on lou palmisano as well... i'm all for salome being the next mike piazza...but this seems familiar i think salome will be much better than lou though...
  3. pogokat
not really the place for this, but the "sorry technical difficulties" image is hilarious
  4. pogokat
I think he's legit. we know.

Bennett warming up in nashville.. what???
  6. pogokat
is she named "Brewerfan Dot Net"?
  7. pogokat
well, one would expect salome's unearned runs to be higher considering the amount of errors he has committed

come on, everybody's gotta love what hasan rasheed is doing in west virginia now...i know he might not be a great prospect, but his play, as well as the improved play of grant richardson have made a huge difference in the quality of play in west virgina

well, the rain sucked...but that one was a lot more fun than last night...we'll have to see if hurricane dennis even lets them play tommorrow

    ty with 8 k's through 4...holy crap

jj had no choice..that pitch was very hard to hit..and with the call maddux got in the pitch before, there was no way he could take...maddux is still pretty good sometimes..

yayh for the regional sports channel in georgia... i woulda gone to the game, except i'm in savannah for the night...anyway, alcides made an absolutely amazing defensive play in the 7th...the ball hit off the third basemans glove, then shot into the air...alcides grabbed the ball on it's way down, and fired it to first just in time to nail the runner...they showed the replay about 5 times.. also, hernan's double might have been a triple if the soaking wet grass hadn't slowed it to a hault

i watched alcides in spring training, and well, he probably weighs 150 pounds...i overheard some of the pitchers talking about how crazy good he is
  14. pogokat
i'll take the .900 ops without the long ball.... i still think he'll hit 25 hr's a year in the majors...or at least as many as kevin mench hits this year...

i believe my heating up comment for sollmen was more my distraction from real life...i meant to say he was turning things around, but got caught up and repeated myself... Hasan has k'ed lots but he's showing a competant bat, and a good walk rate...k's come and go with some guys...he could be a better player than Kennard bibbs, which means we will see him all the way through AA at least... i'm gonna get to see the power play about 5 times in august, so maybe i can offer some insight into "what the heck" with these guys

hasan rasheed heating up...grant richardson not embarasing himself in A ball...sollman indeed heating up as well, but where the heck are the walks from he and festa??? those guys were freakin' machines last year
  17. pogokat
hey, pretend i'm there making fun of something..
  18. pogokat
umm...overbay and jenkins suck against lefties...yost is playing the splits...
  19. pogokat
    lou's just another guy
  20. pogokat
prince fielder with the diving stop!! man, this one's fun to watch so far...hooray for national tv... sidenote, len kasper still does a good job
  21. pogokat
clancy--- williams hit jenkins in the foot with a breaking ball...if that was intentional, i'm beyond amazed
  22. pogokat
    branyan sits
  23. pogokat

  24. pogokat
