  1. angel salome cole gillespie lorenzo cain kenny holmberg taylor green and the rest of the WV Power
  2. Brent Brewer walked three times today...thats fantastic...i hope he continues to draw walks...he's on pace for 180 or so strikeouts right now, so it would make me feel a whole lot better if he walked more often... Taylor Green is a monster...i have no idea how long he can keep this up, but this is an amazing run.. Michale Brantley is a stud...i feel bad for picking on him the entire offseason...his ability to work the count and draw walks without striking out and hitting for a high average is unreal... finall, darren ford...mix that kind of bat with off the charts speed and all star caliber defense... man. just man.
  3. it's rained a lot in greensboro over the last 12 hours...so the game could be affected
  4. MOVE KENNY HOLMBERG UP!!! yes, i'm yelling...but why the heck is this guy still in WV?
  5. i think aumont won't be the pick purely because we've jinxed it... and melvin won't be outdone... jason heyward baby...or Moustakas
  6. howdy! be sure and read the FAQ so you know whats going on...
  7. based on the ozzie guillen factor, we could probably get buehrle, dye, and josh fields for TGJ and craig counsell
  8. he'll be in the same place as yo at this point next year....he could probably contribute to the mlb team today if they gave him a chance...
  9. i think the brewers willo be legitimate playoff contenders for at least the next 4 years...during that time spane they should have multiple shots at the world series... will inman could be the guy that leads this team to a world series in 2009...i just dont want to trade him for a shot this year when he could be the difference in a couple of years...
  10. the sally league is pretty neutral i think... greensboro, where they play tonight, is a massive hitters park though...so if mcclendon succeeds he should be given extra credit... on the down side, i wont be at the game becaus eits standing room only and the wife vetoed it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif plus, its going to rain...
  11. i think inman and salome would probably get one of those guys...but i dont think that would be a good deal for the crew...neither buerhle or dye are good enough to justify mortgaging the farm... i also thought the inclusion of mench and vargas would lessen the value of the prospects...if you are making the sox take those guys, then i'm not sure they do the deal... why on earth do you have slome ranked so low? I'm just curious... i said i would trade inman and angel for vlad or johan, not that i wouldnt...i just dont think you should trade prospects unless you are getting someone that is much better than what you have...i'm not sure we'd be doing that in this case...
  12. i will hopefully be able to go check out mike tonight...if so, i'll take another vid or two, but not as long as last time..
  13. man i wish...i just am not sure mike is coming back this time...he doesnt throw hard any more...and he never had any control...my guess is that he's in AZ working out as much as possible, but i think the Brewers are just going to let it come to an end sometime this season...
  14. no doubt about it, he's out...
  15. chuck fermaint needs to have a 1.600 ops this month to balance out the .285 OPS he posted last month....hopefully tonight is the beginning of a great run for charlie..
  16. Ill go with the 3rd rambo movie, but honestly it was probably top gun...
  17. Read up! Farm Hops May Edition
  18. this trade proposal is like a video game prosposal...you just unload the players you dont want, plus the teams two best prospect past yo and voila! dye and buehrle... i wouldn't trade inman and salome for those guys...i wouldn't trade inman and salome unless i was getting vlad guerrero or johan santana...
  19. ned must be able to see the future, because there's no way you could predict that...
  20. caulfield hits a lot of line drives, but he doesnt work the count in the slightest...i think he'll be massively exposed in brevard...
  21. dillard's going to be a major leaguer for awhile...that along makes him a good prospect...i doubt he has the career of derek lowe...but the potential is there...
  22. 1. giant stuffed energizer bunny in a drawing at eckerds in 1990 2. uncut sheet of topps finest basketball cards in whatever year Michael jordan was playing baseball that's all.
  23. geynn is the one the brewers should move...he has more value than anyone else right now compared to his role on the team, and he has been playing above his head...you could probably spin him for something pretty good... ya know that guy down in AAA, charles Thomas? well he once had a TGJ like run and the braves traded him...for tim hudson... TGJ+zach jackson coulsd probably be made into a good major leaguer...
  24. big man on campus, featuring bob maloogaloogaloogaloogaloogalooogalooga
