  1. Brent Brewer has already lapped Josh Murray...so i don't think we have to worry about the total collapse...while Brent's got some proving to do before he's a top prospect, he's a lot less raw than some players (see Mercedes, Roque) speaking of Roque merceds, I don't know when it will come to an ened...clearly, he's got problems...i wonder whent he brewers will send him back to EST...but i doubt they just let him go for a couple more years...
  2. i think Claudio Vargas is gonna strike out about 18 people tomorrow...
  3. Clean Sweep for the Brewers Organization today... Final: West Virginia 8, Hickory (Pirates) 5 West Virginia Box Score: Brent Brewer's name is all over this box score...good to see last year's second round pick heating up...Fantastic night for kenny holmberg as well, who is doing his best not to get lost in the shuffle after a dissapointing campaign in 2006. www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb..._wvaafx_1 West Virginia Game Log: www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb..._wvaafx_1
  4. Final: Huntsville 2, Montgomery (Drays) 1 Another squeeker in extra innings Huntsville Box Score: Much like Ryan Braun, Lou Palmisano has walked more than he's k'd, with a 11/7 bb/k rate...If the captain has finally learned to take awalk, he could regain a lot of his lost luster...Big Night for Brendan Katin as well, who hit for good power in Brevard County last year---something not even Ryan Braun can claim. www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb..._monaax_1 Huntsville Game Log: www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb..._monaax_1
  5. Final: Nashville 2, Iowa (Cubs) 1 pulled it off in the tenth Nashville Box Score: Ryan Braun hitting .295 with 6 hr's and a 9/7 bb/k rate...i don't think he can get any better with the stick guys... since his defense has been alright, i can't imagine the Brewers keeping him down very far into May, especially since they appear to be contenders this year. Vinny Rottino with a couple of hits---off to a very good start as well, lookign forward to having him as a 1b/3b/rf/lf/dh for the next few years.. www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb..._nasaaa_1 Nashville Game Log: www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb..._nasaaa_1
  6. i think parra will be the first promotion we see this year, but dont count on it in the next couple of months...
  7. Bard was mentioned lots of times because he was andrew miller's sidekick at Chapel Hill, though i dont think many here were clamoring for him...
  8. awesome, thanks! Any idea what he hits on the gun?
  9. "cost" is the wrong word for abermueller...we reigned victorious over the braves by forcing obie upon them...
  10. I vote for Joe Thatcher or manny parra to replace aquino tomorrow...
  11. What a cool night for Zach braddock... It seems in the last few years that Low A has been where the pitchers come out and shine...let's hope Zach Braddock is the next big thing... anyone know what he throws??? Also, let the record state that i predicted the ressurection of brad nelson last september http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. ok, can we admit that aquino sucks now?
  13. maybe he wanted to bring in aquino to walk a few guys...ya know, like bringing someone in to foul people during a basketball game
  14. That's a very interesting piece...Not that usual for a newspaper article about a players positive drug test appearing before they decide if they are going to penalize him or not...
  15. I'm really pulling for Mike carlin...he's got a lot of talent and more determination than most...
  16. 13 ab's! ...i think we can hold off on the worries until he's done that for a few hundred...of course, that is if you believe that hitting with risp is a repeatable talent..
  17. Patrick--- Where do you project heyward? He's still my favorite of the eligible guys this year...any way the brewers get achance at him>?
  18. the offense is rolling today....man, i wish i wasnt at work!!!! doug---how are you watching this?
  19. Nope... He's an organizational soldier on a hot streak...at this rate, he'll be a minor league free agent before he hits AAA...
  20. Dude. Magruder hit a homerun that time that won the game in Atlanta. Without him, the Brewers might have only won 60 games that year... wait...
  21. yeah, i have thought the same...he's a super nice guy...i hope the best for him, since i met him in high school...
  22. yeah, it probably does... seriously, i hope this guy has an excuse (ya know, not that something bad happened to him, but something!) but if he's just holding out...then screw 'em...
