    My hope is that people will stop caring about the stupid cubs now. just like they did with the Red sox. so I never have to hear fireworks go off at 1:30 in the morning in GEORGIA for the freaking cubs again. i'm just sure those people were cubs fans before last week...

    "That's pretty pathetic for a franchise that has been around for almost 50 years." I was at an Atlanta Falcons 50th year celebration last year, and their only really recognizable player honored was Deion Sanders. They woulda honored Favre, but.......

    this is great. I look forward to watching the cubs lose in game 7 of the world series, and then waiting another 100 years to make it there again

    watched it live---the wife and i were both on the verge of tears. i've never watched a baseball game that was also a funeral, and man thats what it was.

    I think Mudcats is better than FSL. If thats what this means, then this is great news!

    I think CoreY Hart is a decent comp---if he keeps developing, he could have some allstar years in the middle of his career, but i don't think he's going to be a perennial allstar.

    i look at this and I see that we did have some decent players drafted in years that looked awful. Also, Zack Davies has been very good.

    I think the maldy era will come to an end in a few weeks.

    The Braves used to have spring training in kissimee, but i think they left. it would be somewhat odd for them to go back, but at the same time, the disney crowds would probably rather watch a braves farm team than a brewers one. GO MUDCATS.

    I would think Diaz is pretty much a lock. As for pitcher, I'd give it to hader based on his absolute destruction of the Southern league. Woodruff has been very good, but not as good as Hader at the same level. I would assume the team would view his first few weeks at CS as a learning period---and since its conclusion, he's been very good there too.

    If Corey Ray had his August Ops for the whole season, he'd be second in the league. As it is, he still has the highest ops on the Manatees at .674. That place friggin sucks.

    Corey Ray is one more good game from having his season OPS over .700. everyone who complained about his lack of success in his first 100 ab's in his professional career at the hardest place to hit in all of baseball probably hasnt noticed.
