  1. C'mon Weathers. Get it done...
  2. We get 18 hits and Braun goes 0-4, with a lefty starting. Whatever, I'll take it, it doesn't need to make sense.
  3. This is awesome. Go Crew, here's to hoping we get 3+ hits tomorrow.
  4. Warriors, I saw in another thread you want a regular version '06 Damian Miller? I would probably swing that if you want. I only have one but would probably prefer a Cappy over the Miller. I would do that, but only if no one else is willing to do a Hall for Capuano. I'll let you know.

  6. 2-0 Cards. Whoohoo. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif
  7. I just woke up from my late afternoon nap, only to find out today's loss actually happened and that it wasn't a bad dream. Let's say the Brewers do happen to fall out of 1st place, is there anything really wrong with being more involved in the WC chase than for the division? I mean really, we haven't had a "good" team in years and years and I think atleast having a winning record is a step in the right direction, it doesn't have to be the playoffs right away, though I hope it will be. Oh well, there's always the chance we get out of this funk and our pitching and hitting combine on certain nights to be as dominant as they were in April and early May. All in all, I think this stretch of games since the ASG has proven that it's just not as easy as we were hoping it would be to win the division this year.
  8. lol. Thanks, I have a hard enough time telling them apart when I'm not dead tired, let alone when I am and the Brewers are on the verge of losing another one to the Reds. Things don't bode well for this weekend either, the Reds are winning games, bound to lose to Chicago and we're going to St. Louis with a mostly taxed bullpen and no signs of consistent offense, besides Braun unless the bases are loaded. And the tone of Powell's voice saying game over says it all. Looks like I'll be crying myself to sleep tonight.
  9. Uecker had me convinced it was gone, might as well have been.
  10. Hmm. So we'll get Coco a W. Sounds good to me.
  11. Jeez. Thank you. Please don't lose this one... Please.
  12. ...I'm not sure what to say, this series in general just is not good whatsoever.
  13. Counsellino is trying to make a statement. And I have no problem with that.
  14. Is there anyone who thinks Braun has a shot to catch Prince in HR's? Honestly I don't want to see it happen because it would mean Prince's homerless streaks continue, but being that Prince has now had 4 HR's (or so) in the last month (or so), and given the pace Braun has been on and is on, I think there's atleast an outside shot Braun could tie him come years end. Notice I put he or so's in there because I'm too tired too look up to confirm, so don't yell at me, please? EDIT: I looked it up. It's 4 not 2.
  15. Come on guys, we have to help Ryan out. He is good, but cant do it alone. No, but he comes darn close.
  16. pretty much a repeat of yesterday, both teams get bases loaded, they get a hit we get an out and we are behind. If only it was only today and the past few days this has been happening, but it seems to have become more of a habit than anything else. The good news is, this sort of play can't last the rest of the year. It just can't.
  17. Good for Brady. Hopefully he gets to stick around a bit longer there than he did in LA.
  18. Was it a squeeze? I don't have the radio on.
  19. It's almost like they're trying out what producing runs is like.
  20. I just got off of work cause of the rain and junk, and come to find the Crew already down 1-0. Bummer. As for Prince not starting, yes the guy needs a day off here and there, I can't argue that. But we finally got Hall back yesterday and now both days we have yet to see our "best lineup" out there. Somewhat frustrating, but oh well. Looks like Bush has been decent so far.
  21. Let me get this... Hall returns from the DL...we have a chance to have our "regular" lineup out on the field for the first time in the few weeks, except for Johnny "hustle is for suckers" Estrada. However, Braun, Hardy and Hart, none of whom are on the DL, and are arguably our best offensive players behind the Prince, get a day off. How convienient.
  22. Thanks for the firejoemorgan.com link. It really is a fun read, especially during and after a game like the Crew played tonight. Good stuff.
  23. I was going to post a short vent, but luckily yfinn's post cheered me up enough. Trying to reach the green from here, Shooter?
  24. Final thoughts: A. Big Ed Sedar seemed miffed about tonight's lineup as well. B. Big Ed Sedar called Suppan's start "an average start." C. I was right. This Grayson character has been calling Craig Coshun, "Coshauny." Please let's get them tomorrow.
