  1. Heading up north tomorrow morning, just checking to see if there's any other interest in this (since it somehow got to page 4 in about 4 days) otherwise I might have to go the eBay route unfortunately.
  2. Quite frankly, the amount of discussion over an IGT being skipped for one night is quite impressive, and somewhat verbose. Anyways, if there's an IGT, great, I have somewhere to post my thoughts to other people who actually "get" the game other than my friends who think Santos is still on the team, but big whoop, I can still do without and reminisce about the time Victor had a no-hitter through 3 1/3 and then gave up a three-run bomb to the Giants pitcher. The point is, how do you know the fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy, well, we're not buying it. He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes. The next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up, I seen it a hundred times.
  3. It took me forever to get into the forums...I'm using IE, would it be faster with firefox?
  4. I think Rickie should be ok with this. Obviously he's not going to be happy. And all his pals are still on the MLB club. He just flat out wasn't playing well. He's almost trying to go Geoff Jenkins at the plate sometimes it appears with the reaching for the low and away. Hopefully he goes down, hits AAA at a pretty good clip and is back up within a couple "weeks." I'm sorry it's early and I'm tired but as of right now the Weeks "weeks" thing is funny to me. Off to work...
  5. Rickie would be something alright, something to talk about. I highly doubt it would be a pitcher right now considering what happened tonight. But we'll see I suppose.
  6. Very interesting, can't wait to see the demotion to compliment the promotion.
  7. Don't want to jump the gun, but I really believe the entire pitching staff needed this, nearly everyone contributed with scoreless innings, hopefully re-spreading confidence all over the bullpen I think the "don't want to jump the gun" could have been in blue. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Anyways, we'll see, it would be excellent if whoever starts could go 8 tomorrow, atleast 7. I would hate to see us have problems tomorrow with our pitching after mowing through our 'pen tonight, which was the right thing to do and I applaud Ned for pulling Wise mid-AB, that was the right move. I have a feeling before this last stretch of games Ned would have had him finish that hitter. See Ned does get credit around here.
  8. I think the no IGT will be done, though I was all for it. Look what it accomplished, a Jenkins walk-off, it worked perfect.
  9. You were just waiting for it eh, Casey? Nice work though it's like a trip through time with the number 24. http://blog.n-two.jp/images/24.jpg
  10. Yackpot. Ironically this huge win cashed our bullpen, but hopefully they are jacked up enough to be ready to go again tomorrow. I'm going to be dead tired when I gotta get up at 5, but a Jenkins walk-off is totally worth it.
  11. Sorry, brewdude, out of luck again, don't have either left.
  12. I'm off to my softball game, in lieu of the Brewer game. Here's to a successful no-IGT turn of events.
  13. I had a burger & malt from Murf's, and am going to take our shepherd-husky mix for a swim in the Fox river. Hopefully once the sun sets it won't be so brutally hot. If you're talking Waukesha, look out for the weeds.
  14. Well it looks like it's working so far, the games been going for six minutes and Soup hasn't given up a run yet, I'm all for it. Whatever it takes. Vent: I miss Ann Carroll.
  15. http://www.psc.edu/science/2004/teragyroid/images/heinz-01.jpg
  16. I can't wait to see how this works out. KG, Allen and Pierce, if they can work out who gets the ball, could be quite the trio. Of course for the most part the team would be just that trio. It's almost like the beginnings of a 10 team fantasy draft or something, getting three guys like that on one team.
  17. Letting 'em have it. Nice.
  18. Losing isn't frustrating to me in and of itself. But the way they've been losing is frustrating. Precisely. It's not that they are losing, all teams lose, and all teams endure losing streaks and periods. But losing 3 of 4 to well-below .500 Cincinatti, including two games we had in the bag and losing 3 of 4 to below .500 St. Louis, including two games we were up 6-0 and 5-0, not to mention the other game where we got two hits against an 0-10 starter, that's where losing becomes a problem.
  19. Anyone happen to get a capture of Prince's look at the end of the game?
  20. To disagree with this sediment is just being nervous and worrying to worry. I have to. I don't think anyone is disagreeing with any dirt or dust particles settling on the bottom of a lake or river. Other than that it's somewhat bold to say that anyone that doesn't agree with your sentiment is being nervous.
  21. What happens if there is no in-game thread and they win? No in-game threads until they lose or what?
  22. Maybe instead we should do no one shaves until we having a winning road trip...but I don't want to be buried with a 10 foot long beard.
  23. Well, I would say this homestand is pretty big in terms of sticking with it, if they can put together something similar to those 9-1 and 8-1 homestands, we'll forget about this week and go forward. Of course, if they have a losing homestand, which I think would be their first other than the 1-2 homestand against the Twins, then we have some issues.
  24. The Brewers can't lose tomorrow, unfortunately the Cubs can win tomorrow. Atleast the Crew gets a day off, and so do we, and we can always hope the Cubs lose.
  25. Another nice outing by Shouse, and Linebrink looked decent today. If only it wasn't for nothing.
