  1. IMO, if the Brewers were serious about a guy like Kremblas then they would have put him on the staff this season like they did with Skaalen and Sedar. It seems to me like they undervalue him a bit, but that's only my opinion.
  2. I posted on the other thread that got locked, but just want to say nice show guys. What is Dillard like personally? He seems a bit goofy on your show, but it seems like its in a good way like Sheets IMO. What sort of Major League content and interviews do you guys having coming up? Good work again guys. Thanks for a unique perspective.
  3. There is no way that was guesswork. I am pretty convinced that there had to have been a leak somewhere. Not that I'm complaining though, I for one am glad for the info however we get it.
  4. My rant of the day: A Gross lovefest seems to automatically entail everyone ripping on Gwynn. The guy is young, hitting decently, plays defense, and can run. I can handle liking Gross but to only talk about him in relation to how much better he is then Gwynn is simply annoying imo.
  5. It seems to me that Hart's problems are not in his wrists but with his eyes. He started very poorly in spring training this year, had a so-so April, suffered a minor injury, and now is not getting any regular playing time. If I remember correctly, Hart made a comment that he wasn't seeing the ball well and Yost commented along the same lines. (Sorry I have no link for this yet.) Perhaps he needs the Rick Vaughn make-over?
  6. At least when Braun makes an error you can have some reasonable chance of getting'em back with the bat the next inning. Graffy, wow. What happened?
  7. Not sure that we are out of this one yet...by a long shot. I mean the inning, not the game.
  8. C'mon Jenks... career bomb 201 would be pretty sweet right now.
  9. He's also hitting about 60 pts. higher then our catchers from previous years. Get something, lose something I suppose.
  10. Why the hatred for TGJ? I think that first of all, he's a rookie and we can look for him to improve upon his performance this season rather then the other way around. He doesn't look overmatched, but rather is confident at the plate and puts up great at-bats, he can run, he can play defense, and I for one would love to have him get one hit a night at the top of the lineup. As has been stated, you give a little with Gwynn with offensive production from the right-field position in terms of extra base hits, but gain production over the league norm at shortstop with Hardy, CF with Hall (hopefully), Estrada at catcher, and at 2b with Rickie if he plays up to his potential. A decent trade-off I would say.
  11. sportsillustrated.cnn.com...index.html Any thoughts on this? Sorry if posted anywhere else.
  12. Gwynn's speed is really paying dividends today. One infield single and the latest decision to send him in that rundown situation. As I write this he just gunned down Wright. Underrated.
  13. Be interesting to see who it might take from our pitching staff to secure a trade with the Rays.
  14. Its about time that the Astros learned to set Hardy up outside.
  15. I hope Maddux is telling Spuerling directions to Nashville.
  16. It was a good move against Lamb.
  17. COCO!! Gotta love the Cubs arguing balls and strikes in the middle of an AB.
