Yeah, nice at bat from lucroy. Wish marcum would've taken a pitch or two to keep that pitch count rising but that is probably asking for too much from a pitcher.

Marcum could really make or break this season. I sure hope he starts off strong this year.

Agreed. I was there on Sunday and there was definitely one ball that it seemed like A-Ram ole'd. It let a run in, too. Gamel and Gonzalez have both looked great.

It's a marathon. Gallardo just didn't have it today. Gamel and Lucroy looked great. I saw half of it and heard half of it, but seemed like good defense by the whole team.

Do they have any hits since the 1st? It feels like one of those "start off hitting then go flat the rest of the game" type of situations. It's just one game, we still have time to get back in this one... but yeah it hurts to have this team take it to us after the way things ended last year.

For any fellow nerds that use the Operation Sports rosters... the spring training version just went live recently... the Opening Day set should be up within a few days. Aoki wasn't on the spring training version so i'm waiting for the next set before starting my Franchise for the season. In positive game news... I've figured out that pitch speed varies depending on difficulty. I was a Veteran level guy last year and went to All-Star this year. Couldn't hit anymore. I knocked the pitch speed down 4 ticks and destroyed the Phillies just now. 7 home runs, my first home run ever by a pitcher (Wolf), and 4 home runs in a game from A-Ram. It was pretty cool. At least I know I can hit on All-Star... I just gotta figure out which pitch speed will be the most enjoyable for me.

I hear ya. My girlfriend and I gave it four episodes and started from the beginning. We were bored and gave up. It just seemed very slow and didn't keep our interest. Tons of people love it, though... and it sometimes makes you question yourself, heh.

Count me in with the people that think Lucroy is a pretty decent catcher and I still think he could eventually hit to his potential. I'd be happy to have him for 4 more years.
