  1. We have discussed use of a rover bofore and if it's something we should try, I think we try it after half the order or so. That way, we get a feeling for what's going on with the other team.
  2. 10. Colbyjack Won't be able to make the game, so you are back up to 11th. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Anyone else not able to show up?
  3. Looks like I won't be going to the game tonight. Tune in to the WSSP Post Game Show this evening to find out why. (1250 am)
  4. I've got lots to do tonight, but I'd like to go see Jackson's debut. What to do... what to do... I Jackson was making a debut -against- Milwaukee, he'd have a great game. I'm hoping he'll do great against the Padres. I could go and mark score, listen to the radio, relax. I'd have to blow off some household stuff to go, may upset the wife but she'd understand... Aaaugh!
  5. I didn't watch too closely. Honestly, I think we are ok defensively for the most part. I mentioned Right and Right Center possibly needing a look in the late innings for arm strength, but even that is not bad at all with a cutoff man taking a throw. Rover is probably not the way to go unless they force us to go that way after once or once and a half through the lineup.
  6. EIther Fieldered, or plexiglass and railinged. Absolutely great start by Dave Bush.
  7. Shutout a gonner. Oh well. Great preformance Dave!
  8. http://greenwoodnursery.com/Images/chamaecyparispisiferamain.jpg Dave Bush the Giraffe Neck.
  9. Ummm... Is it just me in some haze I don't recognize or is Geoffery 4 for 4?
  10. Oh Crap. Good job giraffe neck. edit: there goes the no-no. 4 2/3 innings of not hit ball is awfully good. Capuano's start yesterday added to this so far great start by Bush is just what the doctor ordered for the bullpen.
  11. Why oh why didn't I pull out the reverse jinx trick sooner? I'm sorry. My bad...
  12. Derick's turn to blow it. STRUCK HIM OUT!
  13. Rock Star? Tcha Right! Couldn't get a save in a room of born again Christians. (I'm saved, are you?)
  14. If I keep with the sarcasm, D-Blow will be ok
  15. Remember this: Don't Panic, We've Got Leskanic?
  16. There must be something wrong with my TV. I'm calling the cable company right away because according to my TV screen, not only are the Brewers winning, but they did not give up a 5 run first.
  17. Only if we use that same poor lighting used for the team photo above.
  18. Your 2006 Milwaukee Brewers: Yours. Not mine. Seems like the days of 2002. Poor or no hitting, exhausted pitching staff which is backed up by a terrible defense, and a lot of frustration.
  19. Thanks again for the data entry stuff Jimbo. You hard work is not unappreciated.
  20. Good job everyone. I have some stuff for give aways and some stuff for the champions of the next round. If I could have the winner of each division contact me at my inbox with their mailing addresses, I'd appreciate it.
  21. I need to echo the sentiments above. I was not feeling too good, had a sore throat and I was pretty tired, so I didn't eat a whole plate full, but the food was outstanding. Thanks Nicole and Brian. Nicole did that whole thing with a sore back to boot. She's a gamer, a battler, and a hard worker.
  22. Ok, I guess I added a run to our score. No biggie, a win is a win. I'm going to lock this thread so we can post into the game two recap thread. Good job tonight brewerfan!
  23. One heck of a ball game brewerfan. Team records all around today, we even broke an attendance record. I think we had 6 people in the stands. Good timely hitting, lots of smart baserunning where we were able to take advantage of what was given to us. Team defense was quite solid tonight. I'm proud of the team and how we played. My batting average took a shot tonight, (1-3) I hope to bring it back up and contribute more with the bat. Tonight's game was fun, and that's what is most important getting the win however is a good feeling.
