At least when Ben Hendrickson starts a game, he is gone pretty quickly. Ben 'the Disaster' Hendrickson: Proving beyond a doubt that 85 MPH fastballs don't fool anybody.

    Actually, that is a lot of help Jimbo. It's appreciated. I'm thinking that Bay Street is going to be tough, they have been in the league forever, and they've collected some good hitters. The team's scorekeeper (who does not seem to play) has a loud mouth. The whole team talks smak and I'd very much like to give them all they can handle, and a loss. I'd suggest that we all look at the charts and come up with ideas on how to beat a power team that probably belongs in a power league, but they can't handle playing other teams like them so they just stay in social leagues.

    I called Milwaukee Rec Dept. today. I was talking with some sarcastic and condescending guy who said that we'd need written information submitted by 5pm today. I explained I was working, he asked why I didn't stop before work. I told him I was at work before his office was open, he said turn it in Monday. I have to work. I'll see what I can do. Sarcastic man also asked if I informed the other team. I told him that I wasn't told to, the ump just told me to call the office and that'd be about it. Sarcasm disagreed. I got angry. He said that he doesn't think anything will happen at all. Oh well.

    The umpire's card showed a final score of 8-7, so only one run scored from the throw wide of second, I believe.

    I have to work this weekend, but I can give up the bag of softballs to someone.

    I have a glove here, Mizuno for a right handed thrower. Franchise Series, Brown. Found on the 3rd base side bleachers. I also have a jacket. I found it on our bench. Jacket is Black, Size L, Pacific Trail. $3 in pocket. Mary says it smells of nice cologne. Someone claim this stuff before it ends up on ebay.

    Brewerfan.net in our first game took it on the chin 8-7. We had some timely hits, came back to tie the game at 7, but let a run score in the 8th inning. We had some good fielding, nice hits, and we were in the game all the way. I'm proud of the team, let's see how the scorecard looks when Jimbo posts it. BTW- I found the scorebook. I managed to record the first ground out (6-3) in Brewerfan softball history. I came back with a few hits though, and did a pretty decent job defensively at second base.

    Field Report as of 4:38pm: All scheduled games are to go on as played. I will monitor the Sijan field and get another field condition report later in the evening, around 6:30ish perhaps.

    Jamie will have to make the call on 1B and LC. Looks like 1B is resolved for the first part of the game, and LC goes to who wants it I guess. It'll switch half way through the game so, no biggie. Brian- wanna start in LC for AJ? Anyone... anyone? 9pm start time. I'm going on like NO sleep here, so if I'm out there talking to myself, just chuck a rock at me to wake me up. See you guys at 8:30pm. I'll probably get there earlier than that though.
