  1. Yea - the goalie swap was so odd. 4 ginos for Pavelski last night. Wow.
  2. It's hard to say that he would have pitched like this though. I saw a breakdown that showed the adjustments that he had made. Were those made during the off-season? Or were those helped from the KC staff?
  3. Just looked at Turang's statcast - man, I knew he was struggling, but he has been really bad.
  4. Good point on the injury. Had forgotten about that.
  5. I thought the Wild looked like the better team in games 1-4. Games 5 and 6 though...yeesh. Kaprizov...where are you?
  6. Some really good series in round 1. Though, that is to be expected when there are 3 seeds playing the 5 and the 4 playing the 6.
  7. It went realllllllllly well! Show started at 5:10(the 3pm show was sold out), so we fed them an early dinner and got to the theater around 4:50. We snuck in 2 ring pops just in case, but we were prepared to leave early if needed. Grabbed some popcorn, puppy chow, and some reeses pieces. Kids had their water and snacks. Daughter sat for the first 45 minutes in her own chair eating snacks and snuggling with her blanket. Then she needed the rest room. Sat another 15 minutes and needed the restroom again. At 6:18 she said she was done and wanted to go, but my 2.5 year old was still super engaged, so we finished it out and were out of there at 6:35! I was impressed with both kids, but we were prepared to leave early if needed. Both said they really enjoyed it. My daughter giggled when I did so that was cute. She asked me during one of her bathroom breaks if it was okay to laugh out loud since I told her we need to be quiet in the theater. All in all a 9 out of 10 experience.
  8. Maybe we could trade for an OF. Renfroe maybe? Maybe they'd take Junk or something for him.
  9. 2nd level bleachers in right field is a nice view for relatively cheap. Bathrooms right behind you and if you need some drinks you are right by the craft beer section if that's your thing.
  10. My daughter turned 4 on Tuesday - I am going to try and take her and my 2.5 year old to the local movie spot for Mario tomorrow. Daughter told me she is frightened because it will get dark. Hopefully it goes well!
  11. I see Fickell tweeted out the Badger signal today...
  12. Pedro Cerrano. I am pretty sure he has no hits against curve balls this year - possibly even any off speed pitch.
  13. Minnesota really laid back in the 2nd half of that game. That was so odd.
  14. I'll see ya in the Kellner club. 🤣
  15. Ummmm - the Badgers hired Mike Hastings. This is like...an equivalent to Fickell hire. I am super excited!
  16. Game was fun to watch. Watched it with my beer league team at the bar. Most were surprised at how good of a game it was. As long as its top 5-10ish teams its pretty entertaining. Wisconsin against LIU was...not great hockey.
  17. Great question. I kind of mentioned it above. Who is even a realistic get? I honestly have no idea, but they will probably want to get someone in soon to be in touch with a few of the highly ranked recruits they have.
  18. Granato fired.
  19. Opens up for more extra bases. I don't think anyone would hate to see that.
  20. I was thinking the other day - If/when they can Granato, who would even be a realistic get? You would think it has to be some type of high profile coach.
  21. Wasn't that a video and later in the video he said that's what he would suggest to Rodgers? I did not see the video, but I saw someone else post below it. So that could be wrong too.
  22. I know we disagree on this, but the Big10 is tough this year. The other 6 teams are in the top 16 in the pairwise rankings right now. Wisconsin at 11-19 is 36th. Which is kind of shocking. I do agree that a change needs to be made and it has been a disappointing stretch, but this year the conference is shaping up to be a strong one. Would have been a great year to go 15-15 which would put them on the bubble.
  23. I wear shorts year round. I have even used the snow thrower in shorts. I hate the feeling of pants on my legs. I have a fat butt, thick quads, and my calf muscles are big. Pants feel tight and make me anxious - so I rarely wear them. I am also married with 2 kids, so I couldn't really care less about what others think about me and how it is presented. Perhaps a more apt question would be: Why don't more people worry about themselves? And, I do not mean that at you personally, but I do often think about that. Too many people care about what other people do when it really is of zero consequence.
  24. I am sure it has more to do with the timing - end of the season and all. I am guessing we will hear rumblings and then a dismissal after the season is over.
  25. They really are going big. I guess they also got billboards in the hometowns of all the early enrolls too. This isn't our grandpas Badgers anymore.
