  1. I think Rowe is better, but that championship game did him no favors.
  2. I spoke too soon. Beydoun having a clunker. Some pretty soft ones. Jeez.
  3. Yep, 2nd period has been better for the Badgers, but they looked flat in the 1st for sure. Though, both goals were pretty soft.
  4. I know why they wont, but they should just shuttle Providence over and give them some rapid tests.
  5. Could be worse ... Nodak plays their first regional game at 8:30 pm. If they advance, they’d play the next day against the winner of Michigan and Duluth (who play in the early game at 3:00 pm). I’d rather have the extra 5 hours of rest than the better TV window. That's fair. Let me rephrase. Selfishly I want to watch the game with beers. I have a hard time seeing Wisconsin losing to Bemiji or UMass, but all it takes is one game. Bemiji has the top PK unit, so it might be interesting to see.
  6. Cannot describe how annoyed I am that the Badgers play at noon on Friday and LSS and UMass play at 530.
  7. No idea how Wisconsin got a 1 seed. They must have ignored that 2 to 3 week span where they had covid/Holloway was gone.
  8. I like UWs odds. They played a tougher schedule than Northeastern, but Northeastern definitely has some skaters. Should be a good one.
  9. Agreed. Hopefully teams get real sloppy and commit a lot of penalties. PP Caufiled.
  10. 2nd period defensively was the worst I've seen them all year. On one play Caufield was 'backchecking' and picked up neither guy...needless to say they slid it across Rowe for an easy Gino. A few plays later they cant clear the zone and leave the backside defenseman all alone. Complete breakdown. Edit: Rowe did himself no favors. He did not look great. Moment too big?
  11. Yea, he is really good. He is the Carlos Hathcock of college hockey players. you're going to need to hit the Google button and I'm not going to tell you anything about him. Ha. Nice.
  12. Yea, he is really good.
  13. Na. I still cut mine into rectangles sometimes.
  14. That is one thing I will say, I really dislike Spectrum, but typically their customer service people are friendly enough. That reminds me, I really need to call and complain that my bill is too high. You would think these places would reward customers for sticking around instead of raising prices over and over.
  15. Man, the women's final 8 is a mess. I am glad the Badgers are off the bubble if that's what is going to happen. Gophers ranked in the top 4 all year with 7 losses, all of which are to 2 teams that made the final 8 and one of them being the best or 2nd best team in the country somehow don't make it. Penn State may have even had a gripe.
  16. Fun team to watch.
  17. Caufield...oh my.
  18. Win today for the regular season title. Nice turn around for Bucky. Obviously helps having Caufield and Holloway, but the senior class has been solid and a key for this team. Sucks to see Michigan on that 4 line as I think that's a tougher matchup for Bucky.
  19. Some states use a "past successes" formula where they can bump a team up a division. In the past the WIAA has discussed this option, but tabled it. This might be a fine idea. The other idea might be a tournament of champions. Like in basketball, why not put the top 5 divisions in a mini tournament? What's the harm? Hockey could have d1 and d2 play against each other too.

  21. The League was a lot like Workaholics for me. I really enjoyed it at the beginning and then the end just got to be a bit much for me.
  22. That's what I have heard. I have 2 young kids and if they want to play video games I may look into one of these down the road.
  23. Im a sucker for Rockys salad bar. Must be the french dressing.
  24. Havent seen the game, but maybe Rowe should get the majority of the starts?
  25. They really are. Caufields line was non existent against the York D pairing.
