  1. Break on the error, but too bad it hit his foot, otherwise that's in the corner.
  2. MLB umpires are unionized and basically untouchable for poor job performance, that's the sad thing. There is absolutely no accountability for bad umpires. CB Bucknor and Joe West are living proof of that. They get their little report card, probably trash it, and go out and do it again the next day. There's no fines, no suspensions, no discipline for umpires who suck at their job. Yeah it’s crazy. Just automate the zone already. You still need a himplate umpire to announce the ball/strike call, make safe/out calls at the plate and other things. It’s not like they are going to lose jobs. I saw am interview once where the ump basically said he doesn't care what the league says to him. He knows what he calls is correct. I wanna say it was Joe West or something.
  3. Happy Hader struck him out, but its pathetic how bad this ump is.
  4. Haha. Maybe not. Just called a pitch further out a strike on Sogard.
  5. Infield singles and bloopers. Never ends it feels like.
  6. They have the technology to replace these incompetent egomaniacs and I don't know why anyone is still against it. Either go to an electronic zone or get a lot better umpiring. The umpiring still sucks every single year so just go to the damn e-zone. Pitch 2 or 3 to Villar clearly a strike, but since Lobaton had to reach for it...it's a ball.
  7. Hopefully Villar is able to keep up the positive play. As frustrating as he was two years ago, it was still more exciting than what we were dealing with.
  8. Sogard and Arcia, both 1 for 1 with a HR. That's funny to me.
  9. Bandy needs to be DFA'd immediately. Lol. He's the backup catcher. I don't expect much out of him.
  10. Matz no longer getting the edges. Wow, this ump has been bad on close pitches.
  11. Braun...yikes. seems like he's always behind in the count right now.
  12. Stadium in Minnesota? Sure, lets not put a roof on it!
  13. They did. The Celtics without Kyrie, plus they played well against them this year. Still, something rubs me the wrong way about how they mailed it in. I just don't like seeing that in any sport. They should have just played the end of the bench and have them play hard. Still would have lost, but go down with the players on the floor trying hard. It's why I have been watching more and more NHL the past few years...there is zero slacking there and the respect shown to the game far outweighs the NBA and even the NFL. IMO We're happy to have ya aboard!
  14. Threw a good one there and he pushes it through the opening.
  15. Same spot where a pitch was called a ball on a previous hitter. These guys are good!
  16. Nope. Home plate umpires are just awful. Someone posted a link showing they are 90% accurate or something. I mean, that's just incredibly low considering the amount of pitches that are clearly balls and strikes. I'm trying not to complain this year about them, but I anticipate I'll make it to like May.
  17. You do have to be logged in to an account for it to work. Not sure if you have an account or not. I'm using my wifes.
  18. If you swipe right it gets rid of the thumbs and hearts.
