This inspired me to go re-read that Frosty Boys thread from October 2018, and that nickname is still as cringey now as it was then. So bad. Crap! I thought it was Nasty Boys. But I'm pretty sure those were wrestlers. Doh!

It has been bad for years it feels like. Last night was the first game I was able to see in its entirety due to kids and such, and I just shook my head at the 'strike' Hiura took in the 6th inning or whatever inning it was.

Nice - This made me check again. Nobody IS playing Friday and Saturday now. I must have looked before they had the theatres finalized or something.

Mudvayne is back. And the only time I was more excited was when Static-X announced their return.

I know little about basketball and especially fouls(played and followed hockey my entire life), but that call at the end was the worst call I have ever seen at the end of a game.

Went to a volleyball match(game?) last year with little knowledge outside of Monday night sand volleyball at a local watering hole. It was a lot of fun and was bummed that we werent able to go this year. Hopefully they continue to be good and I can check them out again in the future.

Agreed. I don't think many fans come to see Yelich or whichever star is on the team. I think most go for the experience. IMO - I think it most fans prefer the experience first, then winning, then maybe a favorite player or two.

Went to see a movie a few weeks ago...just to get out of the house. Nobody was in the preview - wife looked at me and said, 'that probably would have been fun to watch.' I was surprised she said that. Bummed me out because I did want to see it but didn't think she would enjoy it. Fast forward to today. I look to see if Nobody is playing this weekend in Sun Prairie - it isn't. Ugh. I believe you can rent it at home for like $20. Not the same as a theater but these days it's nice just to have something of quality to watch. I did see that, but I don't want to drop 20 when it's basically the same price as the theater. At least with a theater we might grab some snacks(the wife anyway) or some different dinner before hand. Typically our moving going experiences is our date night. Dinner, movie, drinks, etc. Thats half the fun!

What a game going on! And probably will be ruined by stupid extra inning rule. I love the extra inning rule! I agree. I think the extra inning rule is exciting.

This is the one that comes to mind for me. I remember it being in the 7th and speeding home to try and catch the rest of the game because, well, history. Only for Overbay to break it up in the 8th and almost lose it in the 9th. 8-0 going into the 8th and the Brewers won 8-7, behind a 6-run 9th for Toronto. I was at this game. Loved DaBush. Talk about a roller coaster that day!

My concern is injury. Will this change pitcher mechanics having to throw an extra foot? I mean, sure, it isn't a huge change, but that is where my thought process comes from.

If I had a guess, I would say this is probably correct.

Pulling Burnes at 86 pitches during his second start of the season is understandable but I would have given him until 100 pitches. Just cycling back to this, and maybe someone mentioned it and I missed it. After reading the Burnes article(which was fun), I read another article about him. Burnes said when he went back out for the 6th he couldn't really get his legs underneath him. I am sure this was partially why he got pulled so early.

I could be wrong, but I saw a stat that said he has swung at 70% first pitches this year. Making contact might be the issue.
