I am a huge Badger fan, but I do like Marquette too. After today, I am a huge Buzz fan. His interview was great......said a ton of great things about Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the fans, etc. Just a class act and all MU fans should be very proud.

That awful Pizza Hut ad campaign "I'm a broke college student." Good god, if your broke, your not going to brag about $10 pizza. Everything about this commercial makes me cringe. Adding bad acting to the mix......really making me angry at this point

War and Sports are my interests.....(luckily my wife does not check bf.net, but you could include her in that equasion) so tonight is a great night for me. I agree with Robert, it looks like it should be great. Probably wont be as good as BOB, however if it is done as well it will be awesome.

While listening to the badger hockey game on the radio, Spike TV was running Star Wars Episode III. The movie is not terrible, but I feel cheated by the ending. The good guys are winning, have everything going for them (see Mace Windu), and then the movie quickly moves to a lousy ending. Yoda takes his turn dominating the Sith Lord, only to suddenly order everyone to flee. What the heck man.....you were winning the fight. Padme dies. Ok, we saw that coming. But did Vader kill her when he choked her, or did him turning bad kill her......I am confused. And the ending. Vaders weak "Nooooooooo." Does it get any worse, cheesier than that? A good movie could have been great. I feel cheated. (Hey TLB, being the bf.net official jedi, please feel free to comment)

Sunday will be interesting. All of Joe Lunardi's #3 seeds lost yesterday, the lone exception being Georgetown, who seems to want to move up. There have been a ton of upsets in all of these tournaments. Ohio St, Duke, Kansas, the big boys are not exactly running away with their games either. I dont think we can be too mad at the Badger guards. There is no way they can play that bad again. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Same with Marquette. I think both teams are still in good shape and will be a tough out in the tourney.

Yep.....a pretty good start to the playoffs. Although in the paper this morning, it sounds like the players were pretty mad for going 0-8 on the power play. I expect them to win again tonight and move on. Hopefully our guys stay away from #9 and #16. Those two are a pair of goons who were trying to start fights the entire game, and we dont need anyone (Blake G!) getting suspended for next weekend

Badgers shot terribly. Illinois gave some pressure, but Bucky couldnt throw it in the ocean for most of the game. Leuer was the only consistant player today. Trevon had just fouled out right before Bohannon had to take that shot.......and the lousy part was, an official called a jump ball, but was over-ruled by another one from 50' away who thought he had a foul. Very lousy! I agree 100% that many top teams are struggling in their confrence tourneys.......so I dont think we drop past a 5. Then again, it is UW and we have a history of this!

That definately looked good to the tourney folks......to play that bad and come storming back. Just fell a bit short today. Definately a good wake up call for tourney time. Badger shooters struggled all day with those Conseco Fieldhouse rims. Long shots fell short, layups rolled off.......we just plain struggled. To shoot only in the 20% range for most (the end probably helped) of the game and have a chance at the end looks pretty good. Illinois played very well. Enough excuses.....they had better be ready by next Thursday!

I really enjoyed The Hurt Locker. I guess that puts me in the minority here.......But besides the visuals, I have read (or seen) very little that makes me believe that Avatar was a good movie. I love Jeff Bridges and am glad to see him win, after all, he is "The Dude!" Inglorious Bastards was funny to me, and I am glad the guy who played the SS trooper won best supporting actor, because he was very good in that movie. But the movie itself......pretty weird. Brad Pitt played a role that nobody will soon forget, no matter what your opinion of the movie was. I really want to see The Cove......it looks quite sad but very interesting.

Jordan Taylor's stat line from Sunday's game: 40 minutes, 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 turnovers. That is a complete game when Trevon Hughes spent most of the game in foul trouble

That was a great showing on ESPN for Bucky. And a ton of it done with Leuer in foul trouble! That will help the arguement for a 4 seed

And thats how it ended.... 6-1. A ton of misconducts, a ton of penalties. Very ugly. And that folks, is probably the last we will see of Bennett.

Patrick Johnson scores the first goal....knocking it into his own net. Ugh..... 1-0 Gophers after one period. It would certainly help the chances at a title if Johnson or Mitchell could come out of their season-long slumps. ------ Update after 2 periods...Gophers 4, UW 1. 5 straight power-plays for UM leads to 3 more goals. Bennett struggling, however, this game has gotten majorly physical and the badgers are getting called for it. Very ugly, nasty play. Having Minnesota announcers does not help the overall watching experiance......

Its almost halftime vs. the Cavs....... after reading up on this thread, I have made it a point to watch Jennings on the pick and role. He moves very well through it, but really struggles on when he should pass vs. dribble it out again. vs shoot it. Its frustrating........You can tell he is trying, but he has a lot to learn. Having said that, I agree 100% tonights game should be a win without LeBron...... -------- Well they did win, and had a very nice second half -
Update: Tonight's game was at the Target center (Its first hockey games in almost 10 years!) because of a scheduling flaw - UM had a national synchronized figure skating event. No lie - I found this tonight in the Wisconsin State Journal. Go ahead everyone.......this deserves your jeers!

I am watching the replay on the Big Ten network after already knowing they won.......Gotta love that........ However, if I were a Gopher fan, I would be pissed! The goal they took away from UM......still trying to figure out how that guy could be ruled "in the crease." He had part of one foot......some goals the goalie is being hit. But hey, I am a Badger guy so tough luck golden rodents..... There were some major-league hits in this game tonight. Overall, a very entertaining game. And the Badgers did clinch the #2 seed in the WCHA tourney, which is awesome. Lets hope this carries over into the big tourney that starts in a few weeks..... Go Bucky!

Someone told me they have a big figure skating thing going on. Honestly.....I wouldnt make that up! And yes, I also heard it was a big snafu..... Its kind of a bummer that their game is at 1pm Sunday. The Badger men's hoops team plays at the same time. Going to have to set the second screen up I guess! Go Bucky
