Man, you guys sure have to put a lot of effort into watching tv. You may be getting it cheaper, but geez, all that switching and tech savvy stuff just isn't for me. Thanks for the ideas though. It seems like it might be a good idea to try TDS for me if Spectrum won't come down in price when I tell them I'm leaving...

Two movies with 8 in the title? Next up, Super 8? Hateful 8? lol I'm watching my movie library alphabetically. Hateful 8 and Super 8 won't be on the docket for quite some time, but I will get to them eventually. Weeding out some movies for space reasons... I have 700+ dvds, so it will take a long time. Next up was "9" which was interesting, but not a keeper. Watched "10" today. Hadn't seen that one in a long time. Bo was something, but again, nothing I'll need to see again. Now to figure out what to do with all these dvds that I'm sure will be adding up over the next few months...

Pothole frozen pizzas from Kwik Trip are excellent! They are pretty awesome, and if you stop in the day after a Packer win, it's buy one get one free. Otherwise they are too expensive, but if you get them for $4 each after the BOGO deal, they are well worth the price... I used to think that the Lotza Motzas were the best frozen pizza, but the Potholes have overtaken them for the frozen pizza crown..............................imo.

Not a rap fan at all, but enjoyed "8 Mile" this weekend. It actually makes Eminem into a likeable guy, but I'm not so sure that would be the case in real life. It also only covers a short period in his life before he hits it big. Worth watching for sure, even if you are not into the rap stuff, like myself...

Watched 8MM tonight. Not a bad movie, entertaining, but not a keeper. I've started going through my extensive DVD collection from A-Z, hoping to get rid of a bunch to clear some space. I have about 700 or so. This one will not make the cut.

I can't stand her either, for a pastor, if that is really what she is, she is too shifty. I have been disappointed in her behavior all season. I also can't stand Ricard and Evvie. Ricard is a snake, a selfish egotistical jerk. I will be celebrating when they finally kick his butt out!!! Xander has good moments, but I also find him irritating. I don't really have someone I am rooting for just yet, but I do like Danny and Deshawn.

Yellowstone season premiere did not disappoint! I expected more grief and woe in biblical proportion from Rip, but I think that is still on the horizon...

I don't think this thread has to deal with current movies only, if so, it has never been stated that way.

I watched "2012" last weekend. I hadn't seen it since it was released in 2009. It just doesn't seem that long ago. 2012 is NOT a Must See movie.

I've seen every Marvel and DC movie... I always enjoy them, which is why I continue going.

Saw Halloween Kills. It delivered exactly what I expected... Entertainment! You can't go to these movies and expect great storylines, etc. You know what you are getting before you step into the theatre...

Has anyone seen the new Venom or Halloween Kills movies? Recommended or no?

I would for sure check into that... Sounds about right, overcharge you, chase you away, then deprive themselves of you coming back, even if they lose money in the process.

I'm just to the point with Spectrum that I don't feel like they value me as a customer. I've been with them for 17 years. If I was a new customer, I could take the same services I am getting now, and cut my bill in half. They do nothing for their loyal customers, and everything to get the new ones. I'm not asking for the moon, I just want to pay reasonable prices. My bill is currently $238 per month. I have high speed internet (basic), the basic cable tv package, no premium channels, no HBO, SHO, etc. Nothing extra. I also still have a landline, but only because if I drop it, my bill actually goes up $10 per month. lol I am going to call to see if they offer any other promotions they can help me out with, but when I have done so in the past couple of years, they just say "sorry, you are already getting the lowest possible price, and there are no promotions that will lower your bill." I used to be able to threaten them with leaving if I can't lower my bill, then they would connect me with a higher up, who would then miraculously come up with a plan that fit my budget. That is no longer the case, now they basically say TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, and I am almost to the tipping point. If TDS can offer basically the same service for $50-$100 less per month, I will probably be inclined to give them a try. Hell, at worst, if they don't work out, I can go back to Spectrum and get all their NEW customer pricing that they won't give a 16-17 year loyal customer. It's frustrating to say the least. I just don't want to go the streaming route, and have to have 4 or 5 services to get what I want/need. I'm not against paying a little bit more for the convenience, but $238 per month is just ridiculous. I like to turn the tv on, watch what I want, and be done with it... Also, I NEED to be able to watch the Brewers, end of story. I can't imagine not having the option to turn on 99% of their games during the season.

I worked for them for 9 years. if we could swear on this forum, I'd give you a colorful rundown of the way the customers were treated. but I'll just say this. in a word. don't. Thanks for your opinion... Good to know. How are they with pricing compared to say Spectrum?

My area is about to get TDS, anyone have experience with them? No idea of the costs yet though.

Also been enjoying "Longmire" Was always on my list, but never got around to seeing it.

I have been re-watching "The League" recently... Such a funny show...

Saw it last weekend. It felt mostly like fanservice. Standing on its own, it was a pretty weak movie. Standing on it's own? It wasn't meant to stand on it's own, it's a prequal to one of the greatest tv shows of all time. If someone goes to the movie having never seen the tv show, or been a fan of the tv show, then yes, I can understand why they wouldn't think it was very good. This longtime Sopranos fan thinks the the movie was awesome! Looking forward to the next one...

Sopranos fans, this is a MUST SEE! The Many Saints of Newark It was excellent, and it certainly looks like there will be another one coming...

I'm looking forward to the Top Gun sequel, not that I am expecting it to be great, more so for nostalgic reasons.
