Horrible effort... Working with Post Malone was all I needed to know about this album. Ozzy catering to the millennials is not a good look. He really needs to wrap up his career, he can be proud of most of his work, not this one... I actually dont mind his new songs. Have to realize he knows hes clearly on his way out and wanted to do some collabs. The song with Elton John is enjoyable for what it is. I've tried to think a bit deeper with his lyrics in these latest songs. And for that, I appreciate it. I actually listened to the entire album on spotify again today... It just doesn't draw me in, and the Post Malone colab I can't even listen through, it has to be turned off completely. I thought if I listened again, I might change my mind. I did not. I prefer to listen to the real Ozzy with Sabbath, but I do enjoy a lot of his solo work as well.
  2. Move Keston down until he figures things out. Move Urias up to take his place. No Sogard and Holt, and Pina starting? Are we sure CC was in charge of the line-up today?
  3. agreed The problem with Jesus Aguilar is that he was toast when he was here. Just added nothing, looked lost, as if he forgot how to play baseball all together. Happens to a lot of players, change of scenery for whatever reason and they find it again. Would I love to have him back doing what he is doing this year? Absolutley, but letting him go was the right move at the time.
  4. If Stearns is working under a certain budget (which I'm sure he is), then I have lost confidence in Attanasio to be honest... I think Stearns made some horrible decisions this past off season, that almost can't be denied, but if he isn't allowed to spend any money, then his resources are limited, and I'll give him a pass this one time. Hopefully he learns from he mistakes he made.

That is mesmerizing... You can't watch that video without realizing that these guys truly believe in what they are doing! Thanks for the link, I might have to check into these guys. Wish it was in English, but still very cool!

  7. Arcia is so hard to watch at the plate. He still moves his back foot when he swings, I would think that alone is something that could be easily fixed, but it is always the same.
  8. ok, I stand corrected on that item, but the rest of what I said is true, really, it is...
  9. I think that putting any weight on a hitter's BA after 14 games and 38 AB's is somewhat pointless... Point is/was, we are throwing a guy in the lead-off spot who is not hitting, has no speed, and isn't really known as an on base guy. His average through 14 games is meaningless, I agree, however, the fact that he is providing nothing offensively, should determine where he hits in the line-up, and lead-off isn't the spot for him, under any circumstance.
  10. Narvaez leading off? Oh my lord... Take a catcher, hitting .154 and thrust him into the leadoff spot. Sounds like a great idea. HIURA.........MUST........BAT..........SECOND. SOGARD...........MUST..........START.........SOMEPLACE. *I am hoping that by me ripping the decision to start Narvaez leading off, he hits a bomb, a double, and has 3 rbi's. We shall see.
  11. When is the last time Hader pitched? How can we expect him to be sharp when he hardly ever sees the mound?
  12. Thankfully, that was scored correctly... I figured the Cubs scorekeeper would screw us over on that just to do it...
  13. DS 2020 strategy: Throw a bunch (and I mean a bunch as in, A LOT of new guys to the roster) of below average, cheap and semi cheap, guys together on one team, hope against all hope that they all have some kind of miraculous career year at the same time. That is what it feels like happened. Penny pinching wing and a prayer type signings do not get you wins... Especially this many in one off season. Thankfully, the majority of them are one year deals. If we sign all these guys back for next year, I will be severely worried that DS has lost his marbles. I'm hoping we let the one year deal guys go elsewhere, and go back to the drawing board, with a little more cash on hand this time.
  14. MUST...........START...........HOLT............AND.........SOGARD........NO.........MATTER.........WHAT.
  15. I know it's a small sample and I think Narvaez will hit, but it's a bit shocking that Pina wasnt out there last night. I get trying to play matchups, but I'd much rather see Urias over Holt too. I really dislike Sogard, but I am going to try and not rag on him over the shortened season. I did that too much the last time he was here. Pina hasn't started in either game since his 2 HR performance. It just doesn't make sense.
  16. Well, with our offensive line-up, Woodruff better be on point tonight, or I'm afraid this will be a "3 inning and off goes the tv" game. Our starters pretty much have to allow 2 runs or fewer for us to have a chance to win a game. Intersting to see if Urias and Pina start tonight, AND if Holt and Sogard continue to be regulars.
  17. I have seen a lot of people say that this team was built for 162 games, not 60. How so? Imagine having to watch this roster for 162 games? I'm thankful we only have to watch it for 60 games. We signed a bunch of guys that would be bench players on most teams, and promptly used them as starters. That is a bad idea from the very beginning. Hoping they could get hot for some odd reason seems to be a short term solution (60 games), not a long term solution (162 games). Yup, we didn't know we'd be minus Cain, that has hurt. Now that Urias IS healthy, he still isn't getting on the field due to our manager's inability to turn in a competent roster.
  18. 110% agree. Why is Pina getting snubbed? What does he have to do to get more playing time? With so few hot hitters on this squad, why bench him 2 games in a row? Dumb.
  19. No Pina and/or Urias? *scratching head (again)* CC, are you awake?
