    Pizza

I'm not gluten free, my sister-in-law is, and she says that Stuc's in Appleton is by far, the best gluten free pizza crust/pizza she has ever had! I have heard this from other's as well.

    Pizza

I was at Ian's in Milwaukee a few years ago and thought it was awesome!

By the slice, Sal's on College Ave. in Appleton is great! They also give you a garlic roll with each slice, heavenly... If you ever make it to MILE of MUSIC, Sal's is the place to go when you need a pizza fix.
  4. So the rumors of him only accepting 4 years at $110 million were false? lol
  5. Ditto this. Out of the NL is only a good thing for the Brewers, however, we do play them.

Mmm, haven't had Buck's in 30 years. Pizza Oven has recently closed. Is Buck's pizza the same as Buck's Bar?

    Pizza

Especially the Steve's in the 70's and 80's. I dream of that pizza!
  8. ^Thanks for the information, but I'll believe it when I see it.
  9. I have a buddy that lives in Iowa and he says the pizza at the Casey's gas stations is awesome. Good to know, we are getting a Casey's in Appleton. I have never seen one in Wisconsin, pretty ballsey to put one in Kwik Trip land.
  10. Joey Meyer Bombs ... it's in my sig ahhhh, my bad, I should have noticed that.
  11. Probably not as good on paper as last year's. But very comparable to 2018. Obviously a lot of hope that the newcomers hit the ground running. I just think that a LOT of things are going to have to go right for us to even have a shot at the playoffs. Odds are against us imo.
  12. Ron Robinson's Beard, You were obviously a previous poster on this board, what was your name before the change?
  13. I really wish I could be as positive as a lot of you. I just don't see this line-up as playoff caliber. Right now, in my eyes, we are going to be fighting the Cubs for 3rd place in the division. This can be painted in a million different ways, but to think this line-up is as good as last years is a bit crazy imo.
  14. I'm not a fan of Kwik Trip pizzas either. If I get one, it will only be the thin crust, their normal version is just not good.
  15. Looked for them at Mariano's and I think I found them, but... they were regular price ~$9 on sale for $6.50. Does that sound right? If so, I can't put them in the same category as Jack's. WOA! $9 regular price? That is way too much. $6.50 is too much as well, even on sale. I usually get them for $5 on sale, but the last one was 5 for $20, so $4 each was a steal of a deal! If you ever find them for that price, stock up!
  16. This ship has sailed anyway... No way he ends up in Milwaukee with all the other shenanigans that have been going on at 3B/1B.
  17. Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports that the Rockies have interest in Jonathan Lucroy. Lucroy batted .310/.429/.437 over 175 plate appearances for the Rockies in the final two months of the 2017 season, which was the last time he managed any production at all at the plate. Perhaps the 33-year-old could become relevant again in deeper leagues if he returns to Colorado, although he'd have to share playing time with Tony Wolters. 18. Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports that the Rangers have agreed to terms with Todd Frazier, pending a deal. Details of the contract aren't known at this point. The Rangers have been connected to Anthony Rendon, Josh Donaldson and Nolan Arenado this offseason but for now will settle for Frazier at third base. The veteran infielder figures to see some time at first base against left-handers, as well. Frazier batted .251/.329/.443 with 21 home runs across 499 plate appearances for the Mets last season. 19. I stopped eating tombstone years ago when it appeared they also made a change that I didn't like. Can't quite remember what it was, it was quite a while ago. I was never a huge tombstone guy, but did like them for a change on occasion. I had a brand a few months ago that I thought was really good. I think it was called ZA or something like that?
  20. I saw that show and it was awesome! John Bonham says hello, but he wasn't on the technical level of Peart, no one is/was.
  21. The Cardinals and Rockies have conducted trade talks in a potential deal for Nolan Arenado. Bruce Levine of radio station WSCR 670 AM heard from a source that the potential return heading from St. Louis to Colorado would include starting pitcher Dakota Hudson, closer Carlos Martinez, outfielder Tyler O'Neill and prospect pitcher Matthew Liberatore. The Cardinals would also be responsible for most or all of the $234 million remaining on Arenado's contract. The two teams are likely not close to a deal at this time. Jan 11, 2020, 4:04 PM ET

  23. This exactly. Looking at our roster, non Brewers fans would be penciling us in as a non-playoff contender. Step outside of your fandom and have a look at this roster. We are signing depth guys as starters and everyday guys. I just don't see us competing with the Cards and even the Reds. And.......you hated the Yelich trade where we ultimately traded what you mis-evaluated as impact guys for the best player this side of the Mississippi. Put it down. I guarantee that one of those guys that you're writing off will have major impact. Much more than the bums we traded away for Yelich. I hated trading those guys, but didn't necessarily hate the trade in general. I've owned up to that many times, your breaking news isn't so breaking. That is a poor comparison though, the guys we are bringing in are bargain basement guys no one else wanted at bargain basement type prices. (Yes, the Cubs wanted Sogard but couldn't afford him, and we over paid for him anyway) They don't now, and have never compared to Yelich, so I don't understand your point. So if one of those guys I am writing off has a major impact, what about the other 3 or 4 bums that we are penciling in for major playing time?
  24. Oh man...
