  1. LIKE It has to be only days away before he joins the big team again. As has been discussed numerous times, the question is, who goes away? Shaw really really really really needs to be sent down.
  2. which, by the way, has nothing io do with the departure of Derek Johnson.
  3. Davies? I also saw Anderson on someone else's list that other teams would want. Why would anyone want either of these guys, especially for anything of value.
  4. There is already a thread dedicated to this subject in the transactions/rumors section...
  5. but Derek Johnson is not the reason our pitching has sucked butt...He has nothing to do with what is happening this season with our pitching staff.
  6. Wonder if this means Carlos Martinez takes over as their closer? If so, they might not feel the loss as badly, assuming Martinez can still deliver in that role.
  7. The outcome of that episode was fantastic. I was rooting for that outcome since being introduced to that character. Can't wait to see the effects on the rest of the season/series. I used to make fun of all the GoT fans around me, now I get it!
  8. Which hurts even more knowing we could have put some ground between us with just a decent little run. But we won yesterday, so this is probably the start of a fierce run of wins to go into the all star break!! Fixed it...
  9. Yeah, I am now 2 episodes into season 4. I have had some really late nights, but hard to turn it off. Glad I'm a teacher, I have some free time during the summer. My wife is not watching with me, surely a good choice on her part, she isn't a fan of the blood gore and violence. The show is just so engaging, and the multiple storylines are great, there is always something going on someplace. I can't believe how often they kill off main characters though. It exhausting.
  10. I'll add to this. I go to a place where it costs me $15 for a haircut. The owner cuts my hair, she actually owns the place. What is a fair tip for someone who collects all the cash. lol
  11. We used Mo's Irish Pub this time and it was great... Saved the drive into the city and the ridiculous parking fee. We would have had to eat someplace anyway, and their food was awesome! I think it's safe to say that we will use them again in the future!
  12. Moving Hiura down for Shaw was a complete and total failure. Everyone knows it.
  13. Which hurts even more knowing we could have put some ground between us with just a decent little run.
  14. Anytime we have to hit Arcia 6th for an extended period of time (more than one day) that is bothersome. Braun hitting clean-up is also bothersome. I am assuming this is happening only because Cain is not in the line-up. Shaw in this line-up is becoming nothing but sad, for the fans, and for himself. Do us all a favor and send him to AAA to get right....please. Jesus is an afterthought. I can see him getting cut at or right after the all star break. He serves no purpose. Why not have Woodruff hit 6th.....not kidding. I'm not fully against the pitcher hitting 8th, but it backfired yesterday with a runner on third after a rally, and Chacin came to the plate and whiffed to end the inning. I'd like to see some kind of stats that actually prove one way or another that the pitcher hitting 8th is a good thing. Like I said, I'm not for or against it. I don't know enough information to have an opinion, however, having Woodruuf hit higher than 9th is A-OK with me when looking at the line-ups we are throwing out there.
  15. *patting myself on the back*
  16. The Brewers have won the last 6 games that I have attended in person. They WILL win today as well!
  17. Thanks everyone!
  18. Sure you can! I did! Nope, there is no way, just finished season 3.....wow!
  19. Is J & B's Blue Ribbon the same as Jackson's Blue Ribbon?
  20. I'd like to have seen DJ get the chance to work with all 3 as members of our rotation this year, but that might just be me.
  21. If the umps don’t take care of this, then the Brewers are forced to drill him where it hurts. lol When is the last time you saw a Brewer pitcher drill a guy on purpose? Those days are long gone except for a few guys who might still consider doing it, but they aren't wearing Brewers uniforms...
