Woodruff is fun to watch pitch The rest of the staff other than hader. Not so fun. Bordering on painful I’m expecting Houser to be Woodruff lite before too long. Why is that? -
DJ was a major loss. Simple as that.

Archer's ponytail or whatever they call the mantails these days looks absolutely ridiculous on the mound. -
I walk about 2.5 miles per day in the summer months, and this happens to me frequently.

So let's hit him clean up! I don't get it... -
Stop using logic, you might get a reputation for being logical, and that might not play here.
-
at which point, Perez would terrorize us for as long as he wore a Cubs uniform. just seems bound to happen.
-
Chill out, dude. I don't want to allege that he's just trolling now, but if the shoe fits ... Some people are just never happy...Gets what he wants and still acts like a child. Go figure.

We salvaged another series with a victory...lol better than a sweep I guess.

You can see and judge for yourself https://cuts.diamond.mlb.com/FORGE/2019/2019-06/27/dcb8312b-ee15c127-a1045cd4-CSVM-DIAMONDTMP-asset_1280x720_59_4000K.mp4 WOW! That sure looked like a true suicide squeeze! Kudos to Chase for getting that one down...

Well, that settles that. We lost on the Yelich trade and the Santana trade. Santana would have easily made that play that Yelich just bumbled. Might as well have just made Santana our regular right fielder and kept those prospects we dealt for Yelich

I've seen several national writers with comments just like that one... Seems everyone realizes what is going on except the Brewers front office.

3 run HR. Chase Anderson drove in the first run with a sac bunt suicide squeeze. I missed it, but was it a true suicide squeeze, or just a sac squeeze? I real suicide means the runner at 3rd breaks for home with the pitch and does not wait to see the ball has been bunted, hence suicide. It's do or die... I find it hard to believe they would try that with Anderson at bat.

Always nice when our starter doesn't give up 3 in the 1st...
-
Well, that proves right there that Santana is a great outfielder, and we lost the Gamel trade by a large margin.

Another former Brewer farmhand gets the call... Astros purchased the contract of RHP Cy Sneed from Triple-A Round Rock. Sneed, 26, gets the call to replace Framber Valdez, who was sent to Round Rock after another poor start on Wednesday for the Astros. To clear room on the 40-man roster, the Astros moved Joe Smith to the 60-day injured list. On the year, Sneed has a 4.48 ERA with a 59/22 K/BB ratio and 1.17 WHIP over 70 1/3 innings in the Pacific Coast League. Jun 27, 2019, 11:18 AM ET

but Shaw has options left, he can go down and it won't hurt us, in fact, replacing him with Hiura will only make us better. There is nothing we can do about Jesus but either dump him, trade him, or live with his uselessness.
-
I fear opponents are going to continue adjusting their staffs to trot out every lefty they can find as long as the Brewers keep up with this odd roster construction. I may not have agreed with every roster move this team has made over the last couple years, but most can be easily explained. Keeping Hiura in the minors simply cannot. It's all about placating Shaw. The blind loyalty to a guy who was good the past two years is sickening. I don't think anyone wants to give up on Shaw entirely, but he needs to go down to AAA, figure some things out, and then and only then should he be allowed to come back up. I highly doubt Shaw's career is over, but he does need to figure things out, and the stubbornness that DS and company are showing in this particular situation is maddening.
-
Firstly: Santana was only a back up for the Brewers. Secondly: Santana is a complete and total butcher defensively. Thirdly: His butcherness defensively negates his masterful hitting over Gamel. I agree with JMB, your fondness for Domingo has grown almost to an obsession.

lol Was just going to post something just like that!

MOOOOOOOOOSE! GAMEL with the inside the park HR!!! NICE!
-
brilliant!

I think we can hope to get 3 or 4 innings tonight from Houser, anything beyond that might be wishful thinking... Let's hope he has the goods to be one of our top 2 starters from here on out!!!

It isn't just the fans in that section, in that video, it is this way all around the entire freaking stadium. Watching at home has become my preferable way to watch the Brewers, the hassles involved in going to a live game have begun to outnumber the joys it brings. I remember when the Brewers used to have ushers stationed at the top of the stairs and not allow people to go to their seats unless it was between innings. That never stopped the people from getting up during the inning and leaving, but it cut half the traffic down just by making them wait to go back... Wish they would do this again.
