  1. Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports that the Cardinals are "among the teams that have kept tabs on" the Dallas Keuchel market. Keuchel is no longer tied to draft pick compensation, as the 2019 MLB Draft will get underway on Monday night, so a range of different teams will now be jumping into the mix. He's a great fit for the Cardinals, whose combined rotation ERA of 4.35 ranks 16th among all 30 major league clubs. Keuchel, 31, registered a 3.74 ERA and 153/58 K/BB ratio over 204 2/3 innings (34 starts) with the Astros in 2018 before failing to find a contract to his liking throughout the winter and spring months. 2. I don't think getting rid of the black hole at 1B would upset the apple cart, I think it would make us better. I'm fine with Thames, but I don't think he is the answer as a regular 1B on a playoff contending team. Too many highs and lows for my liking.
  3. Without looking it up, anyone with an idea who this is? GS -11 IP - 58.1 W-L: 7-2 ERA 2.16 K - 61 WHIP - 0.99
  4. Trading out Moose for Shaw in the current line-up is a very bad thing. VERY BAD! I have seen people on the site actually act like this is a good thing if he ends up on the DL. Makes it an easier decision to keep Hiura. What? In no situation should Hiura be going anyplace. Shaw needs to stay right where he is if Moose is healthy, end of story.
  5. Considering they had Davies hit instead of him yesterday it is likely a real injury. Or, that is what they want everyone to think...
  6. I've got a feeling if Yasmani keeps this up & can make it through the postseason without forgetting how to catch/block balls that we'll find the cash to bring him back. I think it will all depend on how long of a contract he will be seeking...I can't see us ponying up for a deal longer than 2 years, but I can see him looking for 4 or 5...
  7. This is one of those Sunday looking line-ups, but still 100% better than our old time Sunday line-ups. Hiura clean-up? Hope he doesn't put extra pressure on himself for this one... Pina in the line-up really makes the line-up look weak. Grandal has been such a boost in the every day line-up this year. I like Gamel leading off.
  8. Handicap pulled from thin air or what? Geez.
  9. Cain is always almost hurt. Every play he has to move on, even walking to the plate the guy looks like he is "almost" hurt.
  10. Someone, who shall remain nameless, has a head that is going to explode. POOF!
  11. I'm just curious, has anyone ever reached 1500 posts faster than this BC92 character? I think it's time to read more and post less. It's a drag watching the same posts over and over and over. ok, enough of that, but man o man...
  12. I think he drew names out of a hat for this one... Why sit Gamel and put Lo back at lead-off? Yesterday was great, now we go in another direction totally?
  13. Maybe, and I'm just throwing it against the wall, maybe because if he continues to have the season he is currently having, there may be a few teams willing to pony up and sign him for that cost or higher. I agree that we should try and lock him up for another 3 years.
  14. Coach Cooper is a fan of pouring it on, he once had a 15 run lead in the 9th, but that wasn't enough for Coach Cooper, no sir. He continued pouring it on until the other team left the field in shame. Coach Cooper was like that.
  15. There is much to hate but for me it's the obvious ripoff of "Oombop" The fact that anyone even thought of ripping that song off makes me hate it even more...Such a crappy song to begin with. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  16. If the people on the Ho Chunk commercial won that car in the 90's, which judging by their clothes, it was, then that would make them what, 50 tops? They look to be late 60's, especially the Oldman. I hate that freaking commercial.
