I think it's funny that so many posters here want to dictate how the in game threads go. Positive, negative, thread length, etc. One thing I enjoy about the IGT is the fact that they can be impulsive, they can be ridiculous, and they can be flat out crazy. I just think that taking the "fandom" out of these threads is a mistake. Good fans, bad fans, and even great fans react to certain situations on the field differently. Why must we ridicule each other on a daily basis when those reactions don't match up with our own?

I find it amazing that professional baseball players without a contract (Kimbrel) are not staying in baseball shape and throwing enough to allow them to step onto a team and contribute right off the bat. I have seen a few comments that he wouldn't be ready until late April. I'm not disagreeing, just think it is ridiculous, if true, that he wouldn't be ready almost immediately. He has to be preparing with some sort of spring training regiment, right? If not, I am appalled.

Who do you want Gamel to start over? Braun needs a lot of time off. I would bet Gamel starts half the year as such Unless Braun is hurt, Gamel will not start half of the games for Braun.

Start Gamel and one of Braun, Cain or Yelich is on the bench. Which one would you bench in favor of Gamel?

Not a fan of Peralta being allowed to go back out there after Braun ties the game. That seems very foolish, and I can't understand how CC didn't see that coming. I sometimes think that CC just doesn't always have a feel for the game situation.
