  1. Got a link to that privileged information? That’s what we’ve been told by Haudricourt. I’m done jousting with people on this site with regards to what I believe what crews payroll COULD be. What you believe and what you often state as fact are two totally different things. I think it would be great if you were done arguing with people on this site. I can probably speak for everyone in saying that would be welcomed. You are typically a combative poster, which is why you irritate so many with your posting style. Apologizing, and fake politeness don't get you anywhere either. Just chill out, state your beliefs as opinions rather than cold hard facts and things will go better for you here. You are not a victim.
  2. I had a dog in the 80's named "Cecil" for obvious reasons... Haven't owned a pet since, but if I did, it would surely have a Brewer reference name...
  3. Got a link to that privileged information?
  4. Listening to the away crowd in our home stadium makes me sick. I'm done with this one. The Cubs really poring it on our pathetic bull pen. Better luck tomorrow.
  5. Was also hoping there was news on Olson. He got drilled, and was unable to pick the ball up to throw to first. He picked it up with his glove and tried to toss it from his glove but to no avail. His pitching arm hung there, he didn't even try to move it after being hit. Maybe he just couldn't, I don't know, but it did not look good.
  6. Well, at least the pitchers are poring on the hits vs the Cubs. I say that to look for something positive to say.
  7. Slow down a bit there... He did give up a homer, so I think GREAT is a little bit of an exaggeration. Not sure there was a lot of naysaying, but concern for the long ball is legitimate. He held the game in check, at a time we needed him to do so, but giving up a homer, his downfall in the past, doesn't quite put his performance in the great category... I'd like to see him come into a game and not give up a dinger, then I think calling him a weapon might be in order. It is nice having a long reliever with his experience though, just stop with the home runs please...
  8. Man, it sure "seems like" these games are taking a lot longer to finish this year... I have not done the proper research to back up my thought, but we have had a lot of 9 inning games this year go longer than 3.5 hours.
  9. I do enjoy sending those Cubbies fans back onto the freeway with a loss... Let them pour onto the freeways with a dark, sad heart... Makes me feel good.
  10. It seems like I am in the minority on this, but I love that they changed the camera angle. Pitch movement is much more pronounced with the straight on angle. They changed it before last season I believe. I like it too. Seeing the pitch from this angle is a lot more telling than the old angles they used. I admit it took me a while to get used to it, but it has grown on me.
  11. I totally get the complaint that this team often puts up a crooked number early, then proceeds to go dormant for a long stretch of the game, while the opposing team chips away. It happened a ton in 2017 ... less often last year. But that's baseball. Well that makes 3 of us, silent majority it is. Any chance you can just shut up? Seriously, just knock it off.
  12. Would have been REALLY nice if we could have avoided using him at all, and save him for the next two games if needed.
  13. He'll more than likely give up a homer or two, so I hope we can tack on a few more runs... I absolutely hate watching the game on tv and hearing the cubs fans at Miller Park just as loud as the Brewers fans when things go their way. It's disgusting.
  14. 8 run lead, would have been nice to get Woodruff to go 6 or 7... Looks like he will struggle to get through 5.
