  1. All good... You are probably right, but that urge is there, for harmless reasons, as you stated above. In the end, I will refrain, always do. lol
  2. Must be common, because honest to God I had that dream this week. Got me thinking the next day about other girls from my miss-spent youth (I'm an '84 grad.) Being married, no way do I have an urge to contact them- even for purely harmless reasons. Yeah, I'm happily married as well...
  3. Today is the Anniversary of Mark Kotsay in CF! Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Wait, this is supposed to be an optimism thread, not a bad, horrible, worst memories of all time thread.
  4. Dreams are strange. Had a dream last night about a girl I used to date in high school. (I graduated in 1983, so a long time ago) Content of the dream is unimportant, but the randomness was just weird. To top it off, on my drive to work today, a song played from an album I bought her while we were dating. Is that coincidence, or is there a reason for both events to happen hours apart? The urge to reach out and say hello today is strong. We are Facebook friends, but are in contact via Facebook maybe once a year. Anyone else have random dreams about people from your past, then feel the urge to contact them or is that just me?
  5. He was an absolute joy to watch in Appleton this past summer. Great kid, very fan friendly...
  6. Friday is taking FOR-E-VER to get here. Geez.
  7. I used Kelly's in July, same deal. Enjoyed it, and it was easy.
  8. You wouldn't get up at 4:00 am to see a NLCS Brewers game? I'd do that and not even think about it! Priorities man. lol
  9. CC looks done... Loved the guy, but I don't think he has anything to offer we don't already have.
  10. I'll be purchasing a 2018 Division Champs pint glass and shot glass to go next to my 2011 versions. I hope they make them this year. I think I got the 2011s at Kohl's.
  11. I would guess that the recent success will up the Brewer fandom, but it is always related to "what have you done for me lately" when it comes to Brewers fans. Lots of bandwagon fans for sure, but then again, there are tons of die-hard fans out there too. It's all to be expected.
  12. Hard to be an MVP of anything when you never play. Not saying he should be playing, but it sure seems like the trade we made for him was not a good idea.
  13. Dumb question: Is it a 25 man roster for the World Series? Asking for a friend.
  14. Totally this. Makes no sense to take out a guy who can give you short or long innings, who has been nothing but effective. Guerra stays imo.
  15. Ridiculous. Would serve them right if no one would buy them.
  16. This is exact;y what I was thinking while watching them during the Dodger series. How can people do that continuously? It's actually sickening.
  17. Has it? I'm not disagreeing at all and it stands to reason there has been luck involved but just curious what makes you believe that. He induced a TON of ground balls and I'm not so sure the analytics take defensive shifts into account on batted balls. Someone might know more about that than me though. I should have been more clear. I think it was a certain degree of luck that he turned out as good as he has. I don't think that anyone KNEW, even Stearns, that he would be this good. I didn't mean luck as in his pitching, etc. I meant luck as in knowing he would turn out this good. No one could have possibly foreseen the results we got.
  18. He has been great, but there is a certain degree of luck involved here... Question is, do we resign him?
