    I'd wear a division champs shirt/hoodie. Wouldn't wear generic post season gear. Lose right away, and all that does is remind you of the pain. World series champs gear I would wear until I die!

    That is really cool, but $30 plus shipping for a t-shirt? Just can't make myself pay that much.

    I don't think there is anything wrong with pointing out his negatives as long as they don't blind someone from the positives. Humans struggle in every career path. For sure, like I said, he was great when he was great!

    Hate to be a Debbie Downer here, but the Brewers did put up with years of injuries and drug use from Molitor. A lot of people say that the Brewers owed Molitor, but in reality, Molitor owed the Brewers for putting up with the nonsense. Molly was great when he played, but did spend a lot of time hurt. I've always had mixed feelings on him and his split from the Brewers. I don't think it was all on the Brewers. He could have shown some thanks towards the Brewers for dealing with his addictions and injuries. It was a two way street imo. I'm ready for the hate from brewernation, but that's how I feel.

    Only problem is, that means he has to hit. We can't afford his offensive hole in the line-up.

    but it's a lot more fun to make fun of the Cubs, so I like the word collapse in this case. In a way, since they were so confident, anything other than a WS title is a collapse. Screw them, they suck, and we are still playing.

    Once again, I have zero faith that Nelson is a big factor in 2019 success. Until we see him take the mound, I don't think we can count on him, or pencil him in for anything. If he contributes anything positively to the team, that is a bonus.

    This is better than nothing. But don't take it personal if I take your assurances with a grain of salt, as it is your job to downplay any negative..... It is weird, no two ways about it. I assume whatever happened earlier in September, is the same thing that just happened again. Whatever that may be. How is that better than nothing. That is an empty answer, vague to the point of not answering at all...

    It "feels" to me like the Cubs are going to pull this out somehow. Playing at Wrigley and the Rockies unable to get anything going offensively...

    I'm a teacher, and like most other teachers in my building, we had the game up on our computers... Our school day ends at 3:00, at that exact time, my principal came into my office because he knew I'd have the game up. lol We watched the conclusion along with a couple other teachers who wondered in. When it was over, we were all in my office, hooting and hollering, high fiving and just generally being guys... It was awesome!

    THIS for sure... Like others have said, losing the series to the Cubs is an entire different level of hurt than it would be losing to anyone else not named the Cardinals... Losing will suck regardless, so maybe we just shouldn't lose.

    How about we stop tying to read anything into JJ's situation? The same nonsense happened the last time he was mysteriously unavailable, and everything was fine. Let's leave the guy alone and enjoy our success.
