  1. He needs to start the year as a starter, see what happens from there. A bullpen transition can take place anytime, I'd like to see if his 2016 end to the season is what Wily truly is capable of on a consistent basis.
  2. Yup, some great shirts for sure!
  3. Not a fan of the "consolation" ring... Just a reminder of our pathetic history if you ask me.
  4. Not sure why we need to extend him, are there other teams that might sneak in and take him from us?
  5. Don't forget the SSH Molitor bobble, and the special event bobbles, which I'm sure there will be plenty of. (Stitch n Pitch, Star Wars, etc...)
  6. The first two Stitch n Pitch bobbles are pretty pricey, the others not so much. The Bernie was first, and brings $300 normally. The Chorizo was next, and can get $100. Next came the Hot Dog, Polish, and the Italian, they are usually in the $50 price range. In 2015, the overkill continued, and they did a Hank the Dog, which can be had for $25-$30. Last year's version (2016), the Barrel Man, is also in the $25 - $30 range. The Brewers have chosen to ignore the Brat to complete the set the past 2 years, hopefully someone in their marketing division realizes it this year... They are, however, really quality bobbles, heavy and detailed. Some of the nicest the Brewers have done, probably because they only do 1000 of each. I'd post a pic of the set, but it appears this website has no way to do it unless I have a separate hosting site such as photobucket, which I no longer use. A quick google search can easily provide photos of the entire set.
  7. I am so glad they stopped doing 12 bobbles. However, with only 3 listed, I'm positive there will be a few more special event bobbles like Star Wars, Stitch n Pitch, etc... I agree though, it's a great list, and if they can keep the total number of bobbles at 6, I'm more than happy. Really don't think we needed another Yount bobble though, and I thought for sure Carter would have gotten a HR leader bobble. What about the Brat? Still no Brat to finish the second full sized set. That is 3 straight years that the Brat is getting no respect. I wonder if whoever makes these decisions even knows that the Brat is missing from that set?

  9. That list really needs an update. The minor league bobbles hold more value because they are produced in lower numbers. Brewers bobbles are sometimes 40,000+, which makes them really easy to find for cheap. Over-all, those lists are at least in the ballpark, but some are not completely accurate.
  10. Sadly, Brewers bobbles just aren't worth much. Even the retro versions have taken a recent hit in value. Piecing them out is your best bet, almost no one would buy a full collection unless you are willing to sell them dirt cheap. Even piecing them out might only bring in $5 - $10 each. If you plan to keep the unique ones, or the more desirable ones, you will probably be pretty disappointed in your return. The current special event bobbles aren't bringing in a lot of cash either. You used to be able to sell them for at least the cost of the ticket, but that just isn't the case any longer. Star Wars Gorman, Protector Lucroy, Ghostbusters Quad, Hank the Dog and Barrel Man Stitch n Pitch barely will get you $20 - $25 in today's overkill bobble market. If you have 100 to sell, and you can find someone to give you $250 for the lot, you better seriously consider taking them up on it.
  11. Thought this was a neat story... I hope my kids do this for me someday if the Brewers don't win it all in my lifetime. http://dailysnark.com/man-drove-600-miles-listen-cubs-win-father-grave-keeping-promise/
  12. No trade for Braun will replace his production now. In the future, perhaps, but no team is going to trade a player for Braun that produces like Braun at the current time. Myself, I would prefer to hang on to him and let him retire a Brewer... Now, if we were to get a major haul for him, that is a different story, but I don't want to trade him for a salary dump, nor do I want to trade him away and still have to pay his salary... I also want nothing to do with Puig in a trade, NOTHING!
  13. MTP, all that may be true, well documented, but you can't say for a fact that he doesn't care... If given the choice, I'm pretty sure (opinion of course) that he would rather be playing in the World Series than sitting at home watching.
  14. You think he cares? You think he vetoed because he thought the Rangers were a better chance to win the World Series? No that isn't why he vetoed. You speak in factual opinion often, do you have inside information on every player and how they feel? Just curious...
  15. I kind of thought I'd be rooting for the Cubs, but have found myself rooting for the Indians instead...Old habits die hard I guess. (rooting against the cubs)
  16. What has Chris Archer done to qualify him for commentating playoff and world series games? Geez, anyone can get a gig these days...
  17. You can if he is the one sending the runners... That is their job. Going from second to third is generally the runners own choice. True, but not in all cases... Anything hit on the right side the runner should be looking to the 3B coach...
  18. I find it hard to believe that there are people out there with that kind of disposable income... Not in my world.
  19. You can if he is the one sending the runners... That is their job.
  20. We had a Cardinals fan last season who was a great contributor. Super nice and respectful poster.
  21. ummm, how is that different than the Brewers?
  22. So two of the last four years we have been the worst at getting runners thrown out at home? The two years prior, we were in the top five? That truly is horrible.
  23. Highly unlikely with Arcia filling the SS position...
  24. Someone once told me it is less than $4 per bobble...
  25. I'm pretty sure it's already a done deal. Once they publicly announce it, it won't change.
