I was betting on a mid-season big move. NOTHING happened and so I adjusted my prediction accordingly. Adding a reliever and a 1B man should have been done in June/July. This team could have been much better. You can't just adjust your prediction, especially a prediction as bold as the one you made. Man up and stop with the excuses...

Translation. I guaranteed something would happen in large part because something else I guaranteed would make the first guarantee more guaranteeable. And when the second guarantee didn't happen, I abandoned my first guarantee, and made up an entirely new guarantee. +1, no, +1000!

Also concerning is his 5+ ERA the last month... I hope we did our homework in signing this guy...That is a lot of cash next year for a set-up guy. (my guess is he will be our closer next year though, still an over-pay)

Hard to "like" this deal until we know who we had to give up... Should help us now, but I need to see what we lost before I can even begin to evaluate the trade.

Any chance you'd trade one? I can't bring myself to spring for $40+ for a bobblehead that will be 40,000 pieces... Yeah, I get it, this is a popular one, lots of people that don't normally collect will want to keep this one because it is HANK, I get all that, but I just can't bring myself to pay that much, so I am still looking for a trading partner... -
The randomness of which bobbles get retros, and then, how many retros are given out is just so "random." these days. Last year they did a few bobbles with 50% retro, and 50% regular. Some people thought the retro version was like the old ones and overpaid, not knowing it was 50/50. This year, no one knows what the heck is going on. Are there 3000 retros, 5000 retros, or are they 50/50? I have heard several different answers, from several different people. The promo department has been screwing up a lot lately. How hard is it to let the fans know exactly what they are giving out, and letting them know before the give-away takes place. It's a turn off.

50/50 retro or is it the 5000 retro like the old days? I wish they would just stop the retro nonsense all together.

Target Field is a beautiful ballpark, glad we made the trip. We sat in section 102, got a great deal on 4 seats ($54 total) and the fans around us were great! We saw the Twins get hammered, but we all took home a of a pair of SGA flip flops...lol Also, we took the light rail, had no issues at all... Thanks for the advice everyone!
