Who is accountable for realizing just how horrible he has been? The fact that he is this bad, and continues to pitch in close games is inexcusable in my eyes. Who makes the decision to trot him out there time after time even though he hurts the team so often? I do not feel this organization places any importance on accountability, from the top down to the base coaches, there is none. -
Maybe we are the mystery team that claimed Papalbon?

Honestly, I think Rollins would be a better fit for the playoff run both offensively and defensively. That is a lot of cash though for 2015, especially when we sit without a 1B for 2015. (and technically 2014)

If Parra continues to do things like make diving catches and hit home runs, you just know our manager will be stressing to get him in the starting line-up more often.

Brewers manager Ron Roenicke mentioned Mike Fiers as a possibility to take Matt Garza's (oblique) spot in the rotation. Marco Estrada is the other candidate, but Roenicke mentioned Estrada being needed as a reliever over the next few days. Fiers has posted a 2.55 ERA in Triple-A Nashville's rotation this season, so the Brew Crew might opt to give him a shot rather than the guy they bumped from the rotation last month. Indications are that Estrada will start in his place. Way to think out of the box RRR and DM. We already know what Estrada will more than likely accomplish, how about giving Fiers another shot? Not to be a buzzkill Hawing, but all the pinstripe Fielders had that same style of numbers and lettering on the back. Kind of odd since the lettering on the front matched the style of uniform they were trying to portray, but not the back, which matched the current style. -
We already know what Estrada can (or can't) do this season, let Fiers see what he can give us. If he fails after a couple of starts, then maybe, MAYBE think about considering Estrada again. I just hate the way things HAVE to be done.
