  1. Got tickets, mods, feel free to delete this thread.
  2. Rules should be enforced no matter if they are star players or not...
  3. So, this probably means that Marco "HR" Estrada gets inserted back into the starting rotation for at least one start, probably more? Ugh.
  4. So RRR gets a pass, and it wasn't just pure stupidity after all... It is telling that most of believed he would yank him for a pinch hitter though, that tells me that he is still bad at managing baseball.
  5. Just another day with RRR at the helm. The day this clown gets fired will be one of my favorite days in Brewer history. I doubt Attanasio/Melvin has the stones to do it though, that is the problem. His press conference is going to be disgusting. reporters will let him off the hook, and he will just sit there looking dumb. PUKE!
  6. You are banned from making predictions or having special feelings.. (Price a Brewer...10 game lead on STL.) Please stop Yes, but he is 150 - 2 when going to see the brewers live, so his special feelings are valid.
  7. How is it an insult in comparing the two? I understand opinions can differ, but an insult? That is a little over the top.
  8. If Gomez continues to get hit by the Cards, he will snap and get that 5 game suspension anyway... If this continues, we are going to have a mess on our hands, watch and see.
  9. I don't believe it's about stopping it, it's more about letting them know that when this happens, there will be retaliation, we aren't going to continue to just take it. It's all stupid, the entire situation, but we continue to take it time after time. It gets old. I wonder if the attitudes here would change if one of our guys gets hit and has a DL stint, or worse. Would so many be against hitting one of their guys in retaliation if we lose a starting player for an extended period of time?
  10. Hard to believe that Gomez doesn't just go off the hook! If anyone is going to come unhinged, it's him... He must be doing everything within his power to take this crap.
  11. It has been proven time and again that it is ok to hit Brewers, there will be no retaliation. As long as that continues, the plunkings will also continue. The fact Gomez got drilled and no one even batted an eye is telling about the attitude of our manager. The Cards know better than anyone else that our guys are fair game.
  12. Had he done that against the Cardinals, would there have been tension in the air? Isn't Parra breaking some unwritten rule there in that gif? Is that the classy way to play baseball? ...and who was the Dodger with the piano on his back?
  13. I don't think you can even come close to comparing Dykstra to Haniger, I think that is a very big stretch...
  14. I am just super happy we made it to the deadline with Coulter and Nelson still Brewers property...
  15. Good call. Hey, the deadline is not over yet... He is never wrong, so I can only believe that Price will in fact be a Brewer in the next couple of hours. The Tigers found out about PrinceFielderx1's prediction, so they might feel obligated to trade him to the Brewers.
  16. You have to realize though, any pitcher that toes the rubber for St. Louis will be the death of the Brewers... We have made a lot of Cardinals pitchers look like Aces over the years, looks like both Lackey and Masterson are next in line...
  17. This worries me for several reasons. 1. Giving RRR a new toy to screw with will make him think he has to use him, even when he doesn't. I do not like giving RRR a player that he has to get creative with to find playing time. 2. If some of you are right, and he platoons with Davis in LF, this is a slap in the face to Davis, and only messes with his head, which a guy like him doesn't need. He needs to know that he is our guy every day. He is too young to destroy his confidence, and giving RRR any reason to do just that (see #1) is a mistake. Look what it did to Gomez those years when he didn't know from one day to the next if he was playing or not. I doubt Davis is the head case that Gomez is, but how can this not screw with him, even a little bit is too much. 3. Haniger is a loss, even though some are trying to act like it's no big deal, and I will go even further and say that Banda is a loss we will feel in the future. Haniger was a high draft choice, and developing on schedule and we just dumped him for what, an average 4th Ofer. I have seen Banda pitch in person a few times, and he has great stuff. I was very shocked he seemed like a throw in player. Of course, I am going by the "see the player in person" test, and I'm not throwing out crazy stats and graphs that will say the opposite of what I saw. He has improved and progressed each year, and I thought him to be a diamond in the rough and a kid to watch in the future. I think both players would have had a place on this team in the near future, and after we lose Parra after 2015, we will wish we didn't make this deal. 4. Parra is going to want to play. How will he react to a bench role? From what I have heard in the past, he can be a bit volatile if he doesn't get his way... Can a guy like this come in and disrupt or ruin team unity or atmosphere? Could he be a malcontent? I don't like this trade given the guys we gave up. I'm on record. That is all.
  18. wow, wheeling and dealing going on in Oakland... Not sure I like either of their trades, but they sure are making some noise.
  19. Masterson has been pretty awful this season, but since he is going to the Cardinals, he will turn things around and pitch like a Cy Young for the remainder of the season. It is practically a given. UGH!
  20. Prado has not been good at baseball this year, I would say no thank you.
  21. I'd say there is almost no chance this organization has the guts to demote Segura... I just don't see it happening.
