Agreed, one more inning!!! (It's probably wise to take him out though, not knowing how much we may have to rely on him from this point on...) When we get to full strength, with Gallardo, Lohse, Garza, and Peralta, and Fiers continues to dominate, does he take Nelson's spot? It's a good problem to have!

Breaking news: Pirates just got Axford from the Indians: FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Pirates have acquired reliever John Axford from the Indians. No word yet on what the Indians will receive in return. Axford began the year in the closer role with Cleveland, but has dropped in the pecking order since the early part of May. His ERA was down to 3.14 for the year before he gave up a grand slam against the Yankees on August 8. He could be a useful mid-to-late inning option down the stretch. Lots of Ks today, that is nice, but he has thrown a lot of pitches...(which goes with the territory when you have 10 strike outs I guess, make that 11!) This may be his last inning, unless RRR tries to squeeze one more out of him. He is under 100, so he should be able to start the 6th, right?

I have that Mr. Big cd as well, not afraid to admit it!!!! Still don't want to hear the remake every 10 minutes, that song just does not go away once it is in my brain!

That Wendy's commercial, the pretzel Bun one that spoofs the Mr. Big song "be with you" is driving me insane! That song sticks in my head for hours.

Look, I am not saying that Scooter should be hitting against all LHP, I'm just saying that we should not be labeling the kid a failure at this point in his career. How many times did we hear how horrible he was defensively? He is not. How many times did we hear he was a slap hitting singles hitter? He is not! This kid has been disrespected since he came up, and he has proven a lot of members on this board wrong. Do I think that having Rickie face the majority of lefties is a good idea during a playoff chase? Probably, but only because we have nothing better at this point. Some have said that having Scooter face lefties during the hunt is a bad idea, I agree, but what bothers me is that so many are so quick to say he sucks vs lefties when his major league sample is just too small to say with any degree of certainty. I refuse to bury Scooter because a bunch of stubborn semi-haters continue to bash the kid.

I thought I read someplace, or heard, that Johnny Davis was the fastest player in MLB? Am I making this up? Maybe they said ONE OF the fastest, but I have thought all along he was THE fastest guy in baseball... I know this, I have seen him swipe bases in Appleton that he could have went in standing up...lol He is ridiculously fast. Garcia is very fast, but using the eye test, Davis appears to be faster.

Thanks for the parking tips guys, I may seem cheap not wanting to pay that parking fee, but anything to cut down the total cost of attending a game is a good thing! Thanks again!

I would replace Mrs. Doubtfire with JACK... Also really liked BEST OF TIMES. Mrs. Doubtfire is my least favorite of all the ones mentioned, but is probably his most famous work.

bani1717, if you don't mind me asking, where do you park on the street that is a 15 minute walk to the stadium? I don't mind the walk at all, in fact would enjoy it if it meant not fighting exit traffic, and saving $15. I know nothing about the Milwaukee area, but can GPS or google with the best of them!

I'd rather listen to Sophia, I bet that would be interesting... At least they aren't using Telly. I guess it will be a good night to turn down the volume and put Ueck on the radio...
