    Yeah, I'm pretty happy about that, but it's too bad there had to be any talk between us at all. A good business man realizes they screwed up and eats their loss... Regardless, I'm going to keep the case in tact, and never open it. It will go next to my unopened case of Doug Melvins....lol

    I purchased an ebay auction for a case of CC Sabathia bobbles for $40, which included FREE shipping. Now the seller is telling me they made a mistake and I will need to send them $20 more for shipping... What is ebay's policy regarding a seller who makes the sale, then in turn tells the buyer they have to pay more???? The seller has a reputable business and website. I find it hard to believe they think they can make me pay the extra $20 for their error...

    I'd like to see less people disappointed that Scooter has done so well, and more people just happy we aren't watching Weeks at 2B any longer... Not that I wanted to see Weeks hurt, just that watching that trainwreck of a player was simply more than I could take for much longer. I know that when Scooter comes down to earth, there will be a lot of people who can't wait to say "see, I told you so" but for now, why can't we just celebrate one of our youngsters having success. All the negativity surrounding Gennett is a downer... Watch and enjoy. We'll see what the future holds.

    Found this on Rotoworld: Brewers acquired RHP Michael Blazek from the Cardinals to complete the John Axford trade. Blazek is a nice get for the Brewers, as he's thrived in a full-time move to the bullpen this season, posting a 1.97 ERA with 52 strikeouts over 45 2/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A. He's been up-and-down in his brief time at the major league level but has a chance to be a nice setup man.

    Taylor is one heck of a nice guy also... Very fan friendly. Whenever we have gotten anything signed by him, he always chats with us, and says really polite things that he seems to mean. Just a standout classy kid.

    On a related note, Victor Roache hit his 22nd and has tied Khris Davis for the Timber Ratllers home run record... 2 games left to the season.

    Not a fan of this concept. I know there has been a lot less traffic here lately, but I think doing this will decrease it even more...Just an opinion.

    If he resigns with the Cradinals and hurts us for years to come, this sucks... If he walks away from the Cards after this season and signs elsewhere, I love this!!!

    It's hard to get used to the lack of game threads lately... Not that tonight mattered, nothing to discuss other than the same old nonsense.

    If Aoki is on the roster, I can't see RRR using him as the 4th OFer, no matter how impressive Davis is or has been. There is no way he could get past playing the Vet, or the guy who has been playing RF for the majority of the past 2 seasons. I have no trust that our manager can, or will do what is right for the team when it comes to starting positions. Davis probably won't get a shot at starting barring injury or Aoki leaving the team.

    If Thornburg has any shot at being a future starter, then what better time than now to give him that shot? The fact that he has been relegated back to the bullpen is asinine in a lost season like this one. Give him the shot that he deserves and see what happens.

    I seriously doubt he would be even close to playing 1B as well as Hart did last year...

    They are vets, vets win games, make the team better, and provide leadership. It has been proven.

    I added Davis to all 4 of my fantasy teams a couple weeks ago, and have been starting him since, so I had the benefit of racking up all those points! lol Axford needs to be shown the door out of Milwaukee. So tired of his act.

    Exactly. Time to start judging the kid on what he is doing right now, than what the so called experts on this board and in the media have been saying all along. I watched him in Appleton for a year in person, and he was a lot of fun to watch play the game. No clue what his career holds, but right now, he is a joy to watch!

    Yeah, that is what I was getting at, probably wasn't clear. I don't think Davis has the arm to play RF, but Braun does. It seems natural to move Braun to RF, giving Davis the LF job. Aoki becomes expendable. ...and with that Scooter makes a darn fine play at 2B...
