I thought Richardson retired from baseball? Am I not remembering that correctly? I seriously thought he was out of our system... I must have missed something along the way. EDIT: There are no stats for 2012, so I must not be as crazy as I thought. -

Have you seen Francisco play 3B? He CAN'T hack it, he is horrible, just bad. I am thinking they might be considering him as our 1B of the future, and he is just as bad in the field there as he is at 3B... People were mentioning above that he could be traded, I only wish that was the case. He sucks defensively, is lazy, and seems like he just doesn't care. His only positive is his power, but in order to have that, we have to put up with the rest of the badness. I'm out on this guy. -

Went to the T-Rats game tonight, no Michael Reed, and no one around me knew where he was. Hurt or moved up??? Dude is having a great season, not surprised if he moved up.

Exactly, you pull a guy up from the minors who is red hot, then you abruptly plunk him on the bench for 4 straight games, allowing him to pinch hit once, which he goes yard. RRR logic. Braun is out for the year, you'd think it was a good time to let him get some playing time right? RRR logic. The best off-season move that the Brewers can make this year is firing the manager.

I'm done with the Francisco experiment. All the worthless crap we have had to throw out there at 1B this season is an absolute joke. I just don't understand how you can go into a season without a back-up plan at 1B. POOR planning to say the least. I find it hard to excuse Melvin on this issue and give him a pass, this is just ridiculous. To even consider Gonzalez or Yuni as a legit back-up plan at 1B was stupid to the core.

HBP in the wrist. Didn't look good at first, but he stayed in and hit. We'll see what happens... EDIT: apparently, it was the forearm.

Oh jeez, are we looking at Yuni B as our full time starting SS for the remainder of the season? God knows, RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR will not entertain the idea of Bianchi playing SS as long as he has at bats to use on Yuni. If so, and Segura is out for an extended period of time, this team will become unwatchable. (which it is only a hair from being now, at least there is a shred of fun watching Gomez and Segura every night.) Segura stayed in, I hope this post was all for not.

Nope, not tonight, game 3 of Rickie hitting lead-off... What is our manager trying to prove? He needs to go, this is just so messed up. Hey, lets take one of our worst hitters, and give him the most at bats per game on a regular basis. Dumb.

Yeah, I have had this happen to me on a few occasions, usually involving pedestrians and not bikes, but usually involving a group of younger people (4,5, or more). It's pretty much evident that they are doing it purposely. They cross slowly, deliberately, and will even stop in the middle of the street and talk or shout back at someone on the sidewalk as you sit there waiting with a green light. They know that you as a single drive are not going to honk or ask for any type of trouble or risk any type of confrontation against their entire group. Very, very frustrating. Seriously? This bugs the crap out of me just hearing it...

Is there any chance that he has an alcohol addiction, and that has contributed to his horrible, awful, disappointing, sucky season? It could be a combination of his alcohol problems and overuse in the WBC... Maybe he is just having personal issues that are spilling over to the field. Hopefully next year he turns things around, because I just don't see trading him for anything valuable to our future at this point.

I like how he is being rewarded for his crappy season by becoming our new lead-off hitter... Makes not one ounce of sense. Does this kind of foolishness occur on any other team in MLB? As I have said before, I hate this season.

Braun Suspended for Remainder of 2013 Season

Just found this little nugget: Ryan Braun said in a statement Thurdsay that he is not allowed to address his 65-game PED suspension. MLB's investigation into the Miami-based Biogenesis clinic is still ongoing and they've likely given Braun a gag order as part of his suspension agreement. "I know it was difficult for everybody," Braun said, "but I was not, and am still not, legally allowed to say anything yet." He'll presumably face the media at some point later this year. This should be it. When I started pitching I wanted to pitch like Randy Johnson so I tried to learn a slider and throw really hard. I didn't grow out my hair, kill birds, and learn the drums. Yes, but if you could have killed a bird in mid-flight, you would have....Assuming you were a normal kid anyway... That was just beyond belief.
