  1. I think you have 4 posts that you just repeat over and over again. That is false..
  2. I know what you meant, I was just saying that there is nothing wrong with you selling them, and that if I could go, I'd have inquired about the tickets. It's all good man!
  3. No more talk of the Cardinals being lucky. They are better than us.....PERIOD! Seeing you guys talk about lucky this and lucky that is ridiculous.
  4. Bring on the Cards! Putting Hart back in the line-up above at #5, Gomez at #6, Lucroy at #7, and that is looking like a decent line-up.
  5. If I could go, I would have already contacted you...lol Week night games during the school year are killer with a 2 hour drive...
  6. Actually, Kotsay started in CF, not RF, but stupidity noted. In game three, Kotsay started in center. In game four, he started in right field, and Corey Hart, who'd started game 3 in right, sat out. http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/SLN/SLN201110130.shtml Ok, I get it, the game I always think of as being the controversy was game 3 in CF when he screwed up, and cost us the game...
  7. Yeah, it isn't a problem trying to sell the tickets. I agree, sounds a lot like sour grapes to me... I'm even thinking if someone made lilrebel an offer, he'd probably be open since he got them for free anyway. Don't feel bad about trying to profit for your effort like OSS said above. Most would do the same thing...
  8. So a .220 BA is MUCH better? Sorry, that isn't going to cut it in my eyes. That tells you how horrible he has been when you consider that to be much better! So what are you disagreeing with me about, that Weeks has been slumping? You need to look beyond batting average. Of course you do, BUT, saying that Weeks isn't slumping, is ridiculous. The guy has been horrible in all facets of the game. You can break down all the stats you want, he has been terrible.
  9. Playing for the future shouldn't include guys like K-Rod, Gonzalez and Yuni. Playing for the future shouldn't mean signing Lohse and losing our 1st round draft pick, in fact, that goes in the opposite direction of playing for the future since we lost our future draft pick.
  10. Well, looks like the Pirates aren't going to be the doormat that a lot of people thought before this series. Last place stinks.
  11. So a .220 BA is MUCH better? Sorry, that isn't going to cut it in my eyes. That tells you how horrible he has been when you consider that to be much better! So what are you disagreeing with me about, that Weeks has been slumping?
  12. Well, when you routinely have to start guys like Gonzalez, Yuni, a slumping Weeks and Lucroy (cleanup hitters I might add) you are bound to score few runs. I realize Yuni was hot, but we all knew that would come to an abrupt end. Add our lack of offense to the fact that our starting rotation has been awful in general, and it just isn't surprising. We came into the season with no 1B and a lot of questions in the rotation. So far, our gamble on the rotation hasn't paid off, and our lack of a real 1B has killed us. In a nut shell... We suck!
  13. So, Gonzalez cost us a run on his error, followed by the Snider homer. I can not wait until Gonzalez is out of Milwaukee. The guy has no value period. I hope he is on the short list when Corey gets back.
  14. Braun may not see another pitch to hit with Lucroy batting behind him.
  15. Horrible looking line-up tonight, doesn't look like a line-up that is trying to get a series split. Which probably means we score 12 runs tonight!!!! Andrew McCutchen is an absolute beast on defense. Great catch!
  16. Over the years, I have come to expect next to nothing offensively from the catcher position. It's easy to overlook given the lack of offense our catchers have provided in the past.
  17. I hate that crap! Can you imagine sitting next to these idiots? Embarrassing for Pirates fans to have these morons as fans.
  18. After being swept by the Reds, it was asinine for anyone to proclaim this an easy series, just because it was the Pirates. Every time I saw that, I cringed.
  19. Bill S. just said Segura is feeling good, STARTING to see the baseball...
