  1. Giants fans are freaks, they will vote until they can't vote anymore. The entire voting process is an absolute joke.
  2. Gorman was a curious pick if we had to have a Pilots bobble, since he never actually suited up and played a game for them. Tommy Harper or Mike Heagen would have been a better choice imo.

  5. Wow! Better Business Bureau perhaps? I'd give him one more chance to make it right, and if not, go to the police. This kind of stuff just sucks. You'll probably never get your picture back, and even if he pays you for the loss, it just isn't the same as your picture. I'd look into the BBB as well as call the police.
  6. He started it out at $200, so he dropped his price. lol I had a Prince Beloit bobble arms that had no numbers painted on his back, should have tried to sell it for a couple hundred, claiming it was an alternate. People are just stupid.
  7. Could Figaro be the diamond in the rough we have been looking for all season? We have had no other starting pitching surprises (in a good way), could this guy be just what we needed to start to feel good about our future?
  8. GOMI is such a stud! Segura and Gomez, where would we be without them?
  9. It is now official, Segura is my favorite player on this team! It is written.
  10. It always seemed to me like Greinke knew Milwaukee was a temporary gig. 3 and 2 is correct though...
  11. Watching Yuni during that epic hot streak was a blast, but I don't think anyone thought that would continue.
  12. Why would he be missing Milwaukee? He probably wouldn't have been allowed to retaliate in Milwaukee. He did the right thing plunking Montero, that's baseball, but in Milwaukee, nothing would have happened. We would have a player who got hit in the face, RRR might have walked out to the ump, smiled, then turned around and walked back to the dugout. End of story. I can't believe how composed Greinke was after he got hit. He pretty much just stood there. Adding to the discomfort of the situation, he stood there, talking to Montero, who he just hit... I found that funny. That situation alone could have turned into a big fight.
  13. I think it is dumb for RRR to allow K-Rod to continue closing if the only reason is to get his 300 saves. That is correct. If the only reason is so he can get that magic number 300, and that is all that goes into his thought process, then yes, I think that is dumb. If he continues to use him as our closer because he thinks he is effective in that role, then I can get behind that line of thought, but when he comes out and says he will use him to close so he can get number 300, that is just dumb. Just so happens that he is close to that number when Henderson came off the DL. Should Henderson have been used in a game on the line situation after just returning??? In my opinion, no. I don't see the twisted logic at all. K-Rod has done super in the closer role and shouldn't be removed if he remains effective. I don't like that he is being used in the role for a stat padding though. Why not just say K-Rod has been great, he will continue to close. No need to say out loud that you will use him to get save number 300. that is just not very team friendly.
  14. Absolutely! It was great seeing those old school guys right in the middle of things. I can't help it, but watching video of this event pumps me up! Can you imagine RRR in this situation? I am picturing him staying in the dugout or "bravely "running away.
  15. Not that I condone bench clearing brawls (but what if I do?) but it was nice seeing managers with the stones to retaliate. Our mamby pamby style of managing sometimes infuriates me when it comes to this kind of stuff.
  16. I also question putting Henderson in the game in a crucial spot like that so soon back from the DL, but hindsight is always 20/20. Our bullpen has been working, why not get him back in a game when the game isn't on the line, see what he has, and go from there. To me, that seems like common sense, but I truly don't believe that our mangaer has any of that in his skull.
  17. I believe RR said this will be the case until K-Rod gets his 300th save. Just one more reason to believe that RRR is not the man to manage this team. He just isn't fit for the job.
  18. Can someone please share what this means exactly?
  19. agreed, but she is back... she has a need for attention, I knew she wouldn't be gone for long. Same old crap, posting pics, then feeling all bad when people call her on her attention craving...
  20. Loved what Carlos just said about playing in a platoon... He basically said that he is more relaxed at the plate when he knows he is playing every day.
  21. Is it time to start picking Weeks off the waiver wire in my 4 fantasy leagues? He sure seems like he is beginning to figure some things out. Maybe Scooter getting called up gave him some renewed focus?
  22. 382 games without a complete game. WOW! Bill just said that RRR does not believe in the complete game.
  23. Just found this, looks like he will be pinch hitting... STUPID! Ryan Braun (thumb) could be held out for all three games of the Brewers' series against the Marlins. "We’ve talked about it," manager Ron Roenicke said about Braun possibly being held out for the series. "We’ll kind of see how it goes. There’s a chance that to get him right, we may have to do that." Braun will be available to pinch-hit Monday and the disabled list is not yet under consideration, but fantasy owners should be prepared to be without him for a few days.
