  1. This offense could be absolutely lethal when Ramirez and Hart return. I can only hope that Rickie has figured things out by that time, if not, hit him 8th. Aoki Segura Braun Ramirez Hart Lucroy Gomez Weeks Pitcher
  2. That is debatable... Who steals in that situation? Nice win Crew! Henderson knows how to pitch, he can throw strikes with all of his pitches at any time, his fastball can hit mid-upp 90's "with movement, which is key" > than Axford. But you are saying that Henderson is BETTER than Ax at his BEST? Are you sticking with that? If so, we are going to have to agree to disagree...
  3. That is debatable... Who steals in that situation? Nice win Crew!
  4. I have been hard on Rickie, but in all seriousness, he would do some good going back to AAA for a couple of weeks and get straightened out. I am 100% certain that Scooter would outperform the nonsense that Rickie Weeks is doing out there right now. On top of that, for some reason, as bad as he has been, he continues to bat 4th.
  5. Made a few changes to your post.
  6. Gomez could be an option at clean up, but I don't think he could handle it mentally.
  7. Well, I think that can be said for most pitchers in MLB. ...and with that, AX gets out of it!
  8. Probably a good thing we are playing the Cubs.
  9. Absolutely! No way we could have ponied up that kind of cash. It was time for him to leave, there is no doubt about that.
  10. Don't you think though that every player feels this way? There may have been a lot more to that conversation, but what he said just seems so selfish, and works against any type of team concept.
  11. Prince will always be one of my favorite all time Brewers. Imagine him in this line up with Ramirez and Braun?
  12. Actually, there are at least 15 people who have posted in this thread.
  13. That is exactly what I expect to happen... He is just not pitching well tonight at all. Sometimes, a manager just has to see that and act accordingly.
  14. Maybe the guy who said he didn't like hitting 4th made an error... It's not that big of a deal, is it? At this point, he should just be happy he is allowed to hit at all.
  15. and the ball sticks in the glove..........again.
  16. Billy S., acting like Loe is a bonus for the Cubs bullpen...LOL
  17. Weeks and Gonzalez are complete black holes in this line-up.
  18. That is changing with every worthless at bat that Gonzalez makes. He looks lost.
  19. I'm done with Gonzalez, he is just dead weight. Yuni is going to make the all star team............................as a 1B!
  20. Lucroy is a far better fit at clean-up than Weeks. Heck, I'd stick Gomez in there, but I think he would freak out and pop a hammy on one of his famous corkscrew swings... I'd even consider Yuni at clean-up over Weeks. There is no way he can do any worse, NO WAY. Sticking with Weeks in the 4 hole is detrimental to this team, yet it continues to go on day after day. Stubbornness in making out the daily line-ups is infuriating.
  21. It might be ending right now, they have him cornered... If you are not watching CNN, better do it, it is happening right now...
  22. There is no reason to have Weeks continue to stink up the joint at the clean-up spot. Just makes no sense at all, the guy is next to worthless. Can't hit, below average fielder. Anything he can do at this point, Scooter can probably equal at worst. I'm starting to think that Weeks is expendable, however, given his performance, who would want him?
  23. I have been considering selling off a chunk of my minor league bobbles, and just collecting BREWERS SGA bobles only... I am going to re-evalutae these thoughts after this season. I am missing only one Minor league SGA (Nashville George Plaster). The hunt has been fun, but it also gets stressfull sometimes, which is why I am considering downsizing. Not sure if I will actually follow through on these thoughts, but something has to give, just don't have the display space anymore, and if the Brewers are going to go with 10 bobbles a year, plus alternates, I don't see the space thing getting any easier. The Brewers SGAs are easy to find, and cheap if they are not the retro/alternate versions. I also don't collect for the investment opportunity. I collect because I like bobbles.
  24. What is a Meme?
