  1. No way "Marcy" gets benched... I'm with you, skipping him at least once should be done, but I have no faith that RR will see things that way.
  2. Sophia is a babe, but I hate the social media question part of the broadcast.
  3. I sent a PM a few minutes after the original post... Please reply, thanks!
  4. T-Rats win on a wild pitch!!! Man, I wish that game tomorrow was not a noon start... Mark my words. 5 years from now (give or take) Erickson will be the Brewers Manager, and Counsell will be GM. The sooner the better... (Erickson)
  5. I want zero part of Hamilton, period. That money can be spent in a lot of places, and an aging, often hurt, baggage bearing guy like Hamilton would be a poor move in my opinion.
  6. T-Rats win on a wild pitch!!! Man, I wish that game tomorrow was not a noon start...
  7. Playoffs or no playoffs, my faith as a fan has been restored. This is nothing but fun again lately!
  8. He started Monday against a LHP and we still won. He's mainly in there for his defense. A sample size of 1 game aside, if your 1B is playing mainly for his defense, that is a big problem. Agreed 100%. Also, why have him batting 6th, I'd bat Gomez in front of him for sure, and would even consider him batting 9th.
  9. I am VERY sick of BA acting like every flyball hit by a Brewer player is just crushed. Does this guy have no depth perception at all? He acts like routine fly balls are out of the park, and it is getting older and older the deeper we get into the season.
  10. The Timber Rattlers playing a day game Thursday for the Championship series. Impossible for me to make the game with a 12:05 start. Their attendance is going to take a huge hit, but to be honest, their attendance at all the home playoff games has been pathetic. A little bit embarrassing when compared to their regular season attendance.
  11. I'd take him as the Brewers skipper in 2013 if it would improve the situation we are in currently. Not related, it really stinks that they have a day game Thursday. Impossible for me to go, but I'll be there Wednesday night.
  12. Aoki has been a great find if you ask me, so much so, I think he is a lock for a 2013 bobblehead!
  13. He's looking like a guy that will be extremely useful in our 2013 rotation...
  14. If Hart is out for a couple weeks, and we have to rely on Ishikawa, we are done.
  15. I'm not sure we can expect Marcum to pitch very effectively the rest of this year to be honest. He was out a long time, for him to come right back and be 100% is asking too much imo. The real question right now is, if he can't be effective, should he be starting for us while we still have a remote chance to be in this thing? If he continues to stink it up, we should be letting someone else take his turn in the rotation. Typically, our manager tends to stick with guys far too long before making tough decisions like when to give up on a guy for the year. After 4 very crappy starts in a row now, it may be time to skip a start and let someone who is healthy take is place. If we have any chance this year, every game is important, every game must be played to the best of our ability. If we continue to give away one start in every 5, our chances get a lot worse.
  16. Since the title of this thread is "what's bugging you," I feel the need to share what is bugging me. I don't mean to offend anyone here, but people who wear packer jerseys to church on Sunday mornings, really annoy me. Along with that, people who wear ripped jeans, flip-flops, t-shirts with screened designs on the front, or any combination of what I just mentioned, to church on Sunday mornings bothers me. For me personally, Sunday morning church is supposed to be a little more formal than Saturday evening services, When people wear jeans to church on Saturdays, it doesn't bother me at all. Must be the old school in me, but a lot of people really do not dress respectfully at church anymore. Thanks for listening.
  17. I didn't see mention of this play, but it was a game changer. Top of the first inning, Goforth was in a bit of a jam, man on 1st and 3rd, 1 out. He was not looking sharp at all. Routine grounder hit to Rivera at SS, he absolutely booted it, ball deflected to George by dumb luck, who was covering 2nd for the obvious double play ball, George fields the deflection cleanly, and turns the double play. The ball was booted, one run was going to score, and there would have been a man on 1st and 2nd with one out, still. Instead, it was an inning ending double play. Pure luck!
  18. $100 to go down the slide? wow.
  19. 1. Narveson 2. Gallardo 3. Narveson 4. Fiers 5. Narveson The more Narveson pitches, the better our chances, so I'd like him to fill 3 of our 5 spots. I don't even care that he goes back to back every 5 days, he can handle it. 2012 surgery? Who cares, the guy is superman!!! He is going to come back stronger than ever. Who cares if he only topped out at a #5 type pitcher when he was younger and healthy, pre surgery. Now, after surgery, and a year older, he can easily be our ace in the hole.
