That should go down as the biggest bungle in Milwaukee Brewers history...The effects of that decision could have cost us a World Series Championship, too bad we'll never know for sure, but it kills me to think about it even a year later.

I've seen Davis thrown into the 1B mix several times here by different posters. Does anyone know if he has ever played at 1B, or are we talking about a pipe dream here? He is listed at 6' 0" tall. I have stood next to him several times, I am 5' 11". He was surely not taller than me, in fact, I think 5' 11" is his real height. Hopefully, we don't have to go the short 1B route any longer (Prince), especially after seeing what a guy with some length can do over there, like Hart...

Wow, that would be unecessary. You sure you want to pay Hart that kind of money? You may not want others on the board to be the GM, but if you are offering Hart that kind of money, I'm not sure you are qualified either.

Just curious what the reasoning is behind Morgan in RF and Aoki in center? Why place 2 guys out of position instead of just plugging Morgan into CF where he is used to playing and keeping Aoki in RF, where he is used to playing. Sometimes, the tinkering with the line-up just to be tinkering with it is just dumb.

Nope, not me. I was against all the trade him and his contarct talk at the deadline, and even more against it now. Take him out of next year's line-up, coupled with very questionable pitching, and there is no way we compete for the playoffs in 2013.

Thankfully we didn't trade Aramis... He and Braun make this team worth watching, even when we are out of the race...

Lucky is putting it mildly. How many managers stick with their pitcher in that situation? No pats on the back for "believing" in your players there, that was pure luck.

Narveson??????????????? In my opinion, he has zero, nada, zilch, none, no shot at cracking the top 5 in our rotation next year. Some of us forget that the guy just has some really serious surgery, and he isn't young. Add in the fact that he was an average at best pitcher pre-surgery. In my opinion, he will never start for the Brewers again, much less open the season with any shot of the starting rotation. If he is in our rotation, that tells me that we will be in for a VERY long season if we don't have guys who can beat him out.

Anyone know yet what color jersey he will be wearing? I REALLY hope it is not the navy one like the Counsell. Hopefully, they do the gold/yellow jersey to keep things different! Brewers bobbles have become pretty stale imo. They need to do some different poses instead of the standard pitchers wind up and the at bat poses. For example, the sliding Weeks was a cool bobble...

I wouldn't over react on the Iceman's price just yet as far as adjusting it. That was one sale, if it sees $400 in the future, you are right though. No way can that list be changed everytime someone overpays on ebay, that would be a 24-7 job...lol

If you are telling me there are 12 center fielders with better range than Gomez, I put zero stock into that stat. Some of the numbers and stats that are brought up here are just poppycock in my opinion.

Which is why anyone thinking we should go after him at $6 million or more was absolutely crazy, off their rockers... How soon we forget how often the guy was hurt, what made anyone think that would change with age??? I loved the dude when he pitched, and really wish things would have turned out better for him, but the fact remains, he is like glass, and you can never count on him.

Not too bad, would like to see a side and rear view too. Nice looking bobble, would rather be able to see some peanuts, popcorn, and licorice ropes in his box instead of just cotton candy... My biggest fear is that we sign Hart long term to play 1B, squeezing Morris out of a job, and the brewers thinking he is expendable... I love Corey Hart, and I love the fact he is willing to do whatever the team wants him to to remain a Brewer, but I hate seeing young talent roadblocked by guys who will play out to be below the league average offensively at their positions (Hart at 1B) I think at some point, Braun is going to have to move to RF so Davis can play LF. We can't ignore that kind of bat, PERIOD! I don't believe that Boras is going to allow us to sign Gomez, so I think he is gone, leaving Aoki/one of our Minor guys to play CF. Bats like Morris and Davis can't be ignored forever, and if they are better than what we are fielding now, they have to be given the opportunity to win a position. And what about Scooter? -
I put a craigslist add on the Huntsville craigslist. Been doing it for months, and finally found someone willing to part with it. Risky I know, and even after I was burned by the scammer that got me a few months ago, but there was just no other way I was going to get one since I have NEVER seen one on ebay, EVER! I'd rather not say how much I paid for it, let's just say it was a good price. I picked up some extra Huntsville Fielders and a Krynzel as well from the same seller, who by the way was a super nice dude...
