  1. If so, this doesn't bug you? I'm confused.
  2. Doesn't help them when their only real offensive star, Julio Rodriguez, has been injured a lot this season, plus, when in the line-up, has completely gone in the tank. I have to guess his offensive woes are completely related to his injuries...
  3. The peeling plates in Wisconsin is ridiculous. I would think they want every car to have clear, legible plates. I honestly would think that the police would be pulling these cars over to advise them they need to get new plates, but that obviously isn't the case. Hit and runs, and other incidents makes it pretty important to have clear plates, but I guess it isn't a concern. I always wonder about the pitch dark window tinting too. When I was a new driver and into my 20's, I know there were laws against your windows being too dark. Seems those laws are gone, or completely ignored by law enforcement. I don't understand it. You'd think cops would be putting up a stink so they can be a lot safer during traffic stops, but I guess that isn't a concern either. As to the the part I quoted, I got my personalized plates online about 4 years ago. Did it all online, so the fact you can't do that now must be something new.
  4. Disney in general. has become a gross wart on our society. It's too bad really.
  5. Moncada? What has he done to generate even a small iota of interest. Are you guys still clinging to his prospect status? That ship has sailed. Hard pass on Moncada.
  6. Screw CC! I hope he is miserable in Chicago until that contract is done.
  7. Do they grill him, or do they ask him his favorite color on Thursdays?
  8. Bradley Blalock pitched 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball Sunday in the Rockies’ 3-2 defeat of the Padres. Blalock needed one more out for his first major league win; he was pulled from a 1-1 game in the top of the sixth before the Rockies came through with two runs in the bottom of the inning. As it turned out, Angel Chivilli got his first MLB victory instead. Blalock, who was acquired from the Brewers last month in the Nick Mears deal, has performed well in both of his starts for Colorado, giving up four runs in 11 1/3 innings.
  9. Happy to take one for the team...lol
  10. That's because as Brewers fans, we have become a little spoiled... We have actually become pretty used to winning, so I think that vibe is based on that.
  11. I'm benching his butt in both my fantasy leagues, so you can bet he throws a 6 inning gem, 8 K's, 0 runs...
  12. Black isn't going to be playing 3B for the Brewers. He just isn't. Time to move on from that fantasy I'm afraid.
  13. This felt so good, until it didn't... C'mon!
  14. The same thing was said about Chourio. I truly believe that young guys like Black need to play every day to figure things out.
  15. Really tired of Frelick and his weak sauce pop ups...
  16. Wonder whatever happened to that dude?
  17. Not a fan of Black hitting 3rd. Drop him down, less pressure, and let him figure things out.
  18. Yup, logical move. The silver lining is that it's a good way to get him out of the outfield, and be the daily DH from next year on. Another silver lining, we don't have to look for another mid tier bat to be our DH next year, Yeli will have it covered. All that aside, what a kick in the crotch for this year though.
  19. All true, but we do have a few high and mighty posters who don't get this concept, who must always be level headed and unemotional.
  20. lol You are taking any comment I made out of context. As I already said, some were saying he should remain closer until Williams was ready to take that role back again. Megill was doing a great job, there was no reason to thrust Williams back into the closer role until he was feeling comfortable again. But you already know that, just doesn't fit your narrative.
  21. Who said that? I saw people saying that he should be eased back into the closer roll, and not be thrust into it his first day off the IL, but don't remember anyone saying that they permanently wanted him in the 8th. C'mon.
  22. Even if he has a small degree of guilt, MLB wants this to go away badly. They will do, and probably have done all they can to make this disappear, hoping everyone just forgets it ever happened.
