    This was awesome! Probably even more so for those of us who lived it! I was a Senior in high school, and remember it like it was yesterday. I firmly believe that had Rollie Fingers not been hurt, we'd have won that World series.

    Just got home from seeing this and it was freaking excellent. I had reservations about seeing a movie that celebrates losing the World Series, but it was sooooo much more than that. I had tears in my eyes 3 times, and I'm not a movie crier... It was awesome! If you haven't seen it yet, better hurry! It will NOT be the same on a small screen, this is a BIG screen experience, trust me!

    That is all good and well, but what areas outside of WI would there be any interest other than a few people here and there who have left the state? Not trying to rain on your parade, but I just doubt that ever happens...

    I have no fancy-pants stats to back this up, but I am expecting Hoskins to be a lot better next year. He'll have a full year behind him since the injury, so I can see him being a lot better than this year. (Granted, it wouldn't take much for that to happen...)

    Totally GROSS... Only a matter of time before the unis start looking like the Korean and Mexican leagues... Started with the little advertising on the sleeve, now the helmets. It's coming. God, I dread this corporate nonsense.

    I have no interest in extending Frelick or Mitchell. Frelick because we can surely do better, and Mitchell because of the injury factor. Mitchell needs to play a full season before even considering any kind of extension.

    Just got home from the t-rats game! Holy hell what a game, what a finish! The place was electric!

    It's only here from Sept. 13th through the 18th. I don't understand why they couldn't at least show it for 2 weeks.

    I know about the shuttles, have used them many times. Usually go grab a burger at one o those spots pre-game and take their shuttles. Was looking for another option if we didn't want to spend that much time beforehand, just park and get to the stadium. Thanks so far to all who have replied! Appreciated!

    You Gotta Believe Saw this film today, and it was pretty good. I wouldn't call it a classic baseball movie, but it had its moments. Definitely a heart string puller too.

    Anyone have any tips for free parking near AmFam? I don't mind a little walk to get there, so just looking for tips on where free parking is available. We used to park at the Vet Hospital, but I know a couple years ago they started cracking down on that. Any other ideas?

    Why in the hell are you guys posting Packers stuff here? Ridiculous. I get it, you are frustrated with the Brewers game, but geez... There are thousands of places to talk about the Packers, this shouldn't be one of them.

    Ashby could very much be an option for the starting 2025 rotation. You simply can't ignore what we are seeing from him right now. Health could be an issue, and maybe they stick him in the BP as a multiple inning guy, but if he keeps up this kind of dominance, he just has to be in the rotation mix next year.

    Fitzgerald has fallen off a cliff, he shouldn't be in the conversation. There should be a pitching ROY and an offensive ROY. MLB loves to give out awards, why are they still combined? If Chourio keeps this up, and Merrill finishes slow, I can see Chourio beating Merrill, but I think Merrill has to slow down a lot to be passed. As far as Skenes goes, he is upper level talented, I mean, we are probably looking at a guy who could win multiple Cy Youngs in the coming years. The only thing slowing him down is pitching for the Pirates, but I think things in Pittsburgh are about to start looking up in the next few years. They have a young pitching staff with a bunch of young guys on the cusp of being in their rotation. Add Bubba Chandler and Jones to that mix along with Ortiz and they have the makings of a dominant future rotation. If Skenes finishes the season, I think he wins it, If they start limiting him or shutting him down, he shouldn't win it. That leaves Merrill and Chourio to fight it out.

    Meh, or it could just be that Brazil is a crime riddled cesspool. No doubt, we have areas of our country getting the same way. They wouldn't tell that stuff to the players and take extra precautions if their wasn't a legit concern.
