  1. KISS would be alot cooler, but since they won't have Ace and Peter with them, I'm gonna pass...
  2. what is the going rate on the Helena Braun these days?
  3. great thread guys... thanks for information!
  4. Funny thing is, I saw them for sale at the timber rattler store a couple days after I made this thread. I asked the girl working where they came from and she didn't know, but said sometimes they find old merchandise/give-aways in storage. I picked 1 up on the 19th at the game I went to, and that was after I had made the post to try and trade the extras I have from 2002. They are the real SGA give-aways that they are selling. They were not selling them any other year, so where did they come from? I compared the ones I got in 2002 to the one's they are selling, and there is nothing different, not one single difference. So now I have 2 extras once again if anyone is interested. The Anderson is from the game I went to last year as well, I know they had extras of those, they were selling them last year too.
  5. Here is a photo of the Choo bobble...Taken from ebay: Thay are asking $174 for it, but they will never get that much......right? http://i21.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/02/ab/bffa_35.JPG Here is a photo of the John Anderson bobble...also an SGA. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/images/2008/08/03/Czn7NLhM.jpg
  6. Does Hoffman sign through the mail?
  7. I'd be in for an 8 x 10 if I can get it mailed to me...
  8. Ok, I still have one more Choo bobble if anyone is interested... Still have the Anderson as well... What I need is listed above. Am also looking for CC, Weeks, Hardy, Braun, Prince, and Hoffman autographed 8x10s. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  9. Got this one houlie, PM'd you right back.
  10. I have 1 extra 2002 Shin Soo Choo SGA Timber Rattler bobble that I could trade if anyone is interested. Also 1 extra John Anderson (ESPN guy) My needs are as follows: Jenkins SGA with box Hammonds SGA with box. I have this one, but it has a small chip on the hat. I have another one that was broken into 4 pieces in shipping, so I'd just like to get one without flaws. Bill Hall SGA with pink Bat 2009 Kendall SGA I would also be interested in any of the alternate SGAs as I only have Fingers and the 2008 Prince. I would love to get a minor league bobble of Prince or Braun, as I have none of those either.
  11. hijacker! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  12. Someone was looking for a choo bobble a while back, but I can't find the post... Is anyone still looking for one? (I now have 1 extra) I also have a 2008 Timber Rattlers John Anderson bobble to trade if anyone wants one.
  13. cool. can the battery be changed when it runs out?
  14. That's a good call man, they may never be worth what they are right now, I'd have done the same thing...
  15. ...in a brewers uniform. Anyone have one they are willing to part with? Would also like to get a Weeks and Hardy as well.
  16. I'd check ebay first and see if there are any there, and what they go for. BillyHallFan used to have a thread here with bobbles and their value, but I don't see it here any longer... That's a bummer, that was a great, informative thread.
  17. So there are places to park for free that are less than a 5 minute walk from Miller Park? Not being from Milwaukee, I was not aware of that. Not that I expect anyone to tell me, but I'd love to know where those places are.
  18. Here is the 1977 poster: http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n136/turborickey/brewers/Brewers77.jpg names are listed on the bottom of this one.
  19. I didn't expect anyone here to agree with me by having only kids allowed in the auto lines. Since most here are colectors, my opinion wasn't going to be the most popular, but I've seen a lot of frustrated kids unable to get their idols auto due to the big selfish adults... It's just too bad that something can't be done to allow the kids a better shot at getting the autos...
  20. ok sorry... just had an opinion to share, didn't mean to throw it off topic. No offense intended BillyHallFan. My solution is to have the lines be kids only... (pick your age limit...14 and under, 16 and under...) just like some of the give-aways, it should be about the kids getting to meet their heroes, not a bunch of adults trying to cash in.
  21. My question is this? How many autographs of the same player do people need? Why on earth do people get Braun 20 times unless they are selling? I have one Braun autograph, and that is all I need as a fan... I'd be interested in getting another, but not at the price of denying others who don't have it yet. I know there are people here who have countless items autographed by the same players, what is the point? I don't blame the players one bit for not wanting to sign for the same people on a constant basis, whether they are selling or just hoarding the sigs for themselves. Simple fact is, eventually, they will shut it down because people are glutons. Let the kids get the thrill of meeting their favorite players. Why not let the auto lines be for kids, say 14 and under, or 16 and under... Of course, then you would have adults abusing the kids by paying them off for autos, etc... The entire "business" of autos cheapens the point to begin with. The point being, having sigs of your favorite players. It has now become an obsession for some, and a livelyhood for those who sell. What do the players get by stopping in the player's lot and signing?
  22. ok, now I'm gonna cheat post a roster form 1975... Interesting to say the least. http://www.baseball-alman...ter.php?y=1975&t=MIL another intersting link to 1975 information: http://www.baseball-alman...ter.php?y=1975&t=MIL It says that Crandall was the manager, however, Kuenn managed one game.
  23. here is my shot: front row left to right: Don Money, Hank Aaron, Robin Yount, Eduardo Rodriguez, George Scott (not sure who the announcer is laying on the ground between Rodriguez and Scott, but I'm quite sure it isn't Uecker...) back row left to right: Mike Hegan, Manager Del Crandall, not sure of the guy between Del and the umpire, Ump, and that is Mickey Mantle between the ump and George Scott. The artist included Mantle for no real reason, just wanted to include an icon in the painting... (at least, that is how I remember the story, but I was a kid when I first hung this on my wall, so I could be wrong) I have a 1977 version too, I'll post that one when we have more people take shots at this one. I got these from a guy on ebay a few months ago, I just framed them myself, and they are awesome! I posted his email address here a while back, he sold both posters for $15.00 shipped and had several sets left at the time. I know a couple other posters here contacted him and got a set for themselves as well. Here is his email address: iwasjoe@tds.net His name is Joe. If you were a fan back then, these posters make great conversation pieces...
