    Of course, he played with us for one season, was absolutely horrid in every imaginable way. What, do you expect Brewers fans to give a rip about what he did before last season, or this season for that matter? Dude was just plain bad for us, no one likes him, it's normal fan behavior. He was our big off season signing and he couldn't have been much worse.

    You can't defend Winker here, you just can't. His playoff pinch hit appearance that Rich is talking about was about the worst piece of managing all year, and that is saying a lot. Winker being put on the roster at all is even worse. You just can't defend anything having to do with Winker last year, you just can't.

    Would love to grab him and give him the proper chance in a Brewers uniform. Can the pitching lab work its magic? No way this kid is done, let's et him back! Rangers designated LHP Antoine Kelly for assignment. Kelly was the prospect the Rangers got from the Brewers for Matt Bush two years ago, and he was added to the 40-man after last season. He was a terrific minor league reliever last year, posting a 2.04 ERA and a 79/23 K/BB in 57 1/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A, but he had a 9.35 ERA and a 24/22 K/BB in 17 1/3 innings this season.

    Break out of what? He is who he is. Expecting him to break out and become what he was for a brief week in May isn't going to happen for an extended period of time.

    I love that Murphy didn't pinch hit for Chourio there. Maybe Murphy is starting to get it.

    To this team, defense is a priority. Not a chance Frelick plays 3B on a regular basis, and not a chance we throw Black into infield positions he hasn't been playing all season. Black will be lucky to find starts at 1B for us, and I have seen others say outfield. He plays outfield, who sits? His future is at DH with occasional starts at 1B, unless they comit to him at that position once Hoskins is gone.

    HORIZON Chapter One is unbelievably GREAT! I simply can not wait for Chapter Two! 3 hour movie but didn't seem like it! Sooooooooo Gooooooood!

    No way he opts out unless he suddenly kicks into a different gear. He's having a really bad season, only way he opts out is if he has a great season, and can capitalize with a big free agent signing. I'm afraid as of now, we are stuck with Hoskins for another year.

    Highly doubtful Black will be moved back to 3B. If that were the case, wouldn't he be playing 3B now in AAA? 3B is going to be Wilken or Boeve in the near future. Hell, I thought Wilken might even be here by September, but then getting hit in the face seems to have delayed his timeclock for now.

    meh, I don't think this is a "pat yourself on the back" kind of moment. So you weren't a Joey fan, and you wanted to move him. meh.
