  1. I think we could survive giving up Lara for a starting pitcher at the deadline, but I want no part in trading Wichrowski. I think he is a future stud in the making, and trading him for 2-3 months of a rental wouldn't be wise imo.
  2. That's an overstatement. No feathers are being ruffled. In keeping with the stoner pot-head theme, I think Willy Nelson in the booth would have been ridiculous too. I think you are wrong when it comes to being offended. I don't think it's a choice, I think it comes deep from within, and not a choice. If you are choosing the things that offend you, then are you really offended at all? I mean, I realize there are those that look for things to be offended by, that is just the way of the current world.
  3. I hope you don't "choose" to be offended by anything.
  4. Interesting, but who is #2 on that list?
  5. I'll never understand the obsession with Snoop Dog. Dude has made a living out of being a pot-head stoner, who at one time was relevant in the rap world. I just don't get it.
  6. He isn't average, he is terrible. Where did anyone say he should hit 35 homers?
  7. Freddy simply can not handle being the staff ace. Time to stop calling him that.
  8. I hope so. I haven't seen any post game press conferences, but I hope they are hammering him with questions that the Milwaukee media never had the guts to ask when he was here. I was fine with him leaving, and we haven't missed a beat, but watching him squirm, and possibly second guess his decision to leave is truly awesome!
  9. What does anyone see in Jimenez and Kopech. Both have had ample time in the majors to show their worth and neither has been able to do it. Kopech is an absolute crap show this year, and like Robert, Jimenez can not stay healthy. I want nothing to do with either of them for a playoff run.
  10. As frustrating as he can be, I'm really going to miss him to be honest. I don't think you can put a price on his leadership and positivity. He's just the kind of guy you want in your clubhouse.
  11. Anything less than a series win isn't acceptable imo. They need 2 of 3, gain some ground, and not lose.
  12. Is this for ALL tickets, or just certain ones?
  13. Since every other thing that wants to be noticed and worshipped takes a full month, why not have 4th of July Month?
  14. The time to do that was BEFORE the season started, not now or any other time this season. Hang onto him, finish up the year and see what happens.
  15. I'm not disagreeing with your full premise, however, it is unlikely we can go deep with the current state of our rotation. Just because it has happened in the past for a couple of lucky teams, doesn't mean it will happen with this group. Could it? Sure, but the odds are not on our side.
  16. Man I hope MLB's uniforms don't continue down that path... This is how it starts. Huge Nike swish, advertising on the sleeve... Next thing you know we'll have an advertisement on the upper leg, then it turns into that mess we see above. This is why I was totally against it when the advertising on the uniforms started. It's just gross.
  17. Went and saw The Watchers. Meh. Not a bad movie, but not really that good either.
  18. Contreras was not going to keep that pace up all season, add that to the fact that he was over used. From this point on, he needs rest, simple as that. Maybe less than most catchers, but he better not be playing the next 70+ games again.
  19. It would be extremely risky to trade Adames at any time this season. The time to do it would have been last off season. He is one of our leaders, and trading him could really effect our offense, both physically and mentally. Unless we get an unreal haul for him (not likely) I think we keep him.
  20. Rea deserves to be the game one starter, however, knowing MLB and how things work, we all know that we'd trot Freddy out there for game one because he is "supposed" to be our best starter. How sad is our starting situation that we are actually arguing that Rea is our best starter? Gross.
  21. Ugh! Dude looks done, No way I'd have any interest in this guy unless he makes a big turnaround between now and the deadline. yuk
  22. How many times this season has our starter gone 7 innings complete?
  23. Sal needs some AAA time. Too bad Wiemer isn't hitting in AAA right now so we could swap them out. Both suck. Need Mitchell back!
  24. lol What other players have I mentioned in my other posts?
  25. When did I mention Dunn? I didn't.
