  1. My bat plays better than Monasterio right now. :)
  2. That would alleviate the logjam in the outfield, but at what cost defensively at 3B? I hope this is not the direction we take, now, or ever... His bat does not play at 3B.
  3. I think it is wishful thinking that he wouldn't want to go to the Dodgers for any reason. My guess is if he had the choice between us and LA, the Dodgers would be his choice. That team is built to win the world series, and since winning seems to be important to him,, I think we'd take the back seat.
  4. I keep checking this thread to see if Pratt has been bumped up to A+ yet. lol
  5. Yuck, double yuck...
  6. LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of getting Scherzer for the remainder of the season! To me, this feels like a no-brainer if the price is right...
  7. I see a lot of these players on a regular basis up close and in person, which probably causes some attachment. There is always a little sense of loss with certain players when they get traded away, regardless of the % of them that actually make it to the MLB level. Barrios was a great player here, super fan friendly, and always looked like he was having fun with his teammates. With how few guys hit in the 300's these days, it was a joy to watch his hitting approach, and I thought that he was one who is probably going to do great things after leaving Appleton.
  8. I wish I could say it was a skill, but it was pure luck...lol
  9. Losing Barrios saddens me, as a regular Timber Rattler attendee, he became my favorite player this year. My first reaction was anger and dismay, then I settled in and decided I just don't like the deal but accept it. I am also wondering if that is the final addition to the rotation?
  10. I would think that Counsell would be against this happening. lol
  11. Brewers fans do it too. It's an epidemic.
  12. I did the exact same thing for both of my kids, they loved it!
  13. No thanks to that dumpster fire. If he were free, maybe we could work some magic, but he will be far from free.
  14. The NEW Bad Boys was great! Just a great summer movie! Nothing new, just pure entertainment! BIKERIDERS was awesome! Really liked this one, but I typically like period movies with interesting subject matter. This is one I will purchase on dvd when it comes out!
  15. Loving Chourio! Sitting here yelling and clapping like a fool. Thankfully no one around to witness!
  16. Meh, pick up a guy from the scrap heap and he gets shelled. It's to be expected. Question now is, how many more times will we try to run him out there expecting things to go better?
  17. My hero? Dude... I truly think you operate on a different plane than the rest of us. I was actually pretty happy to see CC go, it was time for new direction. I don't miss him in the slightest. As usual, you just throw out comments that have nothing to do with anything.
  18. Can we be seeing back to back games with a Brewer grand slam?
  19. Ummmm, do I need to tell you why that is? Of course not, you are just trying to stir some pot...
  20. Absolutely lights out in Appleton earlier this season.
