    What about Robert would help us? He's an OFer, and a horrible bat. Everyone we have on our current roster is better, and it isn't even that close. What does Rengifo do for us? Horrible fielder, below average bat. He absolutely does not fit our profile, nor does Robert. I'd rather sit pat, not do a damn thing, than waste any prospects on either of them.

    He is probably the last thing we will need next year given the young talent at starting pitcher that this team currently has. I agree with the poster above, trade him in the next couple of weeks, don't look at resigning him in the off season.

    I didn't say I wouldn't love to add him, but I fear the cost is going to be way more than we should consider paying. Which is basically what I said in the original post. I don't want to overpay for a 2 month rental.

    I know there are some here who'd like to snag him (I am not in that group, hate to overpay for a 2 month rental) The Athletic’s Patrick Mooney reports that “it’s no secret that the Cubs are looking at [Eugenio] Suárez as a potential upgrade at third base.” Matt Shaw has not performed up to the level that the Cubs hoped for in his rookie season, and Justin Turner can’t be counted on as a full-time third baseman at this stage in his career, so it’s no surprise that the Cubs are looking for a new hitter to man the hot corner. Suárez already has 35 home runs on the season with 85 RBI and a .928 OPS in 98 games this season. He’s a free agent at the end of the season and seems all but assured to be traded at the deadline, with the Cubs and Yankees as the two favorites. 1h ago Source: The Athletic

    DVD PURGE: Casualties of War - Not a feel good movie, but I'm a sucker for Viet Nam movies. Pretty disturbing at times, but it stays. Keeper Click - Don't need to see it again, Goner Cobb - I think a lot of the stuff in this movie has been disproven, but I'm sure he probably wasn't a good guy. Keeper Clockwork Orange - I've always felt this movie was very over rated. There are some iconic scenes, that can't be argued, but to me, it just isn't that great. I don't need it in the collection as I doubt I'll ever have the urge to see it again. Goner Mallrats - Strayed from the "C's" for this one since I have been seeing the Kevin Smith stuff a lot lately, figured I'd just complete the ones in my collection... Like all the Kevin Smith stuff, has it's moments, but not for me. Goner

    3 McMahon is garbage. Only way I'd want him is if he is 100% free. Like the Rockies just said you can have him for $1. I would give nothing for him, NOTHING.

    DVD Purge: Chasing Amy - I know people love the Kevin Smith stuff, and I must admit that Jay and Silent Bob are the highlights of all his films (at least to me anyway) but this one was just so-so. I rank it pretty even with the Clerks series. Nothing I need to keep. - Goner The Client - Decent movie, but nothing I need to keep in the collection - Goner. Christine - Keeper, this is the first Stephen King book I ever read, and I've read everyone of his books since. Movie is pretty damn good, surprised it hasn't been remade. Chasing 3000 - Love good baseball movies, and this is a decent flick. Keeper Champions - Love this movie, and it contains many many LOL moments. Keeper City of Angels - Meh. Ghost rip-off with angels instead of Ghosts... Not horrible, not great either. No reason to see it again, so it's a goner.

    I don't mind during the all-star game since it's really only an exhibition game, but I don't like it at all during the regular season or playoffs.

    Burke is a 1B, nothing more. There is no chance in hell he moves to the OF, so something has to be done. Can Fischer stick at 3B, can he be moved to the OF? It's a good problem to have, and I am firmly in the camp against trading Burke. FIRMLY!

    Makes sense, Burke goes to Biloxi after the break, Fischer steps right into 1B for the T-Rats.

    Man, I do not want to trade Dinges or Burke. Burke looks like a legit 1B of the near future. Since we refuse to give EMJ a shot at the position, who else do we have in the pipeline for that position? Wilken if we move him off 3B and he ever stays healthy? Luke Adams? Burke's bat is advanced due to his college days, I still can't believe he is still in Appleton, but once he starts moving, I think he moves quickly. The kid can flat out hit! Sy no to trading Burke please. PLEASE?

    Perkins in a full time starting role just isn't going to cut it come playoff time. The bat just doesn'tplay.
