  1. In all likelihood, we have him for 2 more seasons after this one. Like I have said before in this thread, if he is a free agent in 2028, he won't be a Brewer in 2027 as I think he will be traded. So we have him in 2025 and 2026. If we aren't going to extend him, and if he continues what he is doing until the end of the 2026 season, we should get a king's ransom for him on the trade market. So for the next 2.5 years, enjoy him!
  2. Here's a guy I didn't want to trade, we could sure use him now... Reese Olson threw eight shutout innings in a no-decision against the Marlins, allowing three hits and striking out six. Olson didn’t walk a batter or allow an extra-base hit all night. His slider was sharp on the night, helping him to a 29 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW overall. The 24-year-old now has a 2.09 ERA on the season with 41 strikeouts and just 15 walks in 47 1/3 innings. He somehow has no wins to show for it, but that should change soon.
  3. ALL the commercials are annoying. They play them all 8-9 times a game, seems like even more. It's pretty bad.
  4. Uh oh! More cheating shenanigans from the Astros organization... Ronel Blanco was ejected from Tuesday’s start against the Athletics following a foreign substance check. Blanco is facing an automatic 10-game suspension after umpires confiscated his glove following a foreign substance check to open the fourth inning. The 30-year-old righty, who has thrown the only no-hitter in the majors this season, had tossed three scoreless innings against the Athletics to open the contest. Source: Chandler Rome
  5. It doesn't really matter what anyone thinks, it's pretty obvious that if we weren't desperate for bodies in the OF, he would be best served right now, in AAA. It's not like that is where I want him to be, I was really hoping he'd belong with the Brewers, but it just doesn't look like that if you ask me. Now I realize that our resident Chourio experts will chime in to tell me just how wrong I am, but you just can't tell me that the best thing for him right now is playing with the Brewers. Even if he could go down for a month, earn his way back, then come back up, I'd be happy with that decision.
  6. Except Dunn can play 3B, and it seems like the Brewers have given up on Black playing 3B.
  7. Enter stat guys proving you wrong...lol Sure seems like an accurate statement though.
  8. Except if we are in the pennant race, no way we trade him... The off season was the time to do it, but we didn't. If we are within a couple of games of the playoffs at the deadline, we aren't trading him.
  9. He sure needs a big moment to pan out. He just isn't looking confident at all. Even his body language has completely changed
  10. This is why you don't let guys like Veiera take us out of it. CRUSHED! Bauers = MVP
  11. Simply put, Adames just isn't very disciplined when it comes to anything offensively.
  12. Was Lane sending him? It wouldn't shock me...
  13. Contreras is an absolute joy to watch! It's unbelievable, seems he gets on base every single time!
  14. Livin in America, Yeah, got to have a celebration! WOO! -James Brown - Rocky IV Soundtrack.......did you think you'd get that one by me? lol
  15. I bet they wish they had waited another year for the Frelick bobblehead.
  16. Funny you say that when we did the same exact thing with two of those three players. 😀 😥
  17. Pirates are going to have a really solid, and maybe spectacular front two starters in Skenes and Jones. It always feels like this team is on the rise, yet they never put it all together.
