  1. It's going to be so much fun to watch this guy for the next decade...
  2. God I hate that Happy Thursday commercial. That music and horrible singing, if that is what you call it, is excruciating to sit through 10 times per game. I mean, C'MON!
  3. Well, I'd think if it were that cut and dried, Hudson would shake him off...
  4. It's not too hard to see that in his old age, he has gone off the rails a bit. Not focusing on his political affiliation, it doesn't matter which side he backs, his behavior the past couple of years has been whacko. If he was a republican acting like that, still whacko. The fact that he is a democrat has no bearing on the fact that he is not quite right in the head.
  5. Who is the test audience for Disney movies? Kids, adults, both? If it's primarily kids, I can see how the garbage continues as I don't think they really care about plotlines. If it has funny characters doing funny stuff, I'm sure they are fine with it. The fact that adults keep taking their kids to this stuff, says more about the state of parenting than anything else. Stop throwing your money at stupid movies to entertain your kids. Also, I think Hollywood in general (Not just Disney) has completely run out of ideas, and this is only going to get worse as time goes on. Hence, the amount of remakes, sequels decades after the original, , etc...
  6. DVD purge. Borat - Starts out really really funny, but by mid movie, the humor fades to plain old stupidity. Dumped this one. Born on the 4th of July - Great performance by Tom Cruise, but this movie is a total bummer. I hadn't seen it for so long that it all seemed new to me, but by the time the last 45 minutes started, I was losing interest. A movie about the spoils of war, but falls flat the last 45 minutes or so. Glad I watched it again, but this one is a goner from the collection.
  7. When he was sane...

Thanks for the head's up! Good stuff! Will be checking them out for sure!!!
  9. Curious to know from the guys who watch a lot of Mudcats baseball, is Josh Timmerman an up and comer? Is he someone to be excited about joining the Timber Rattlers?
  10. Cards are done, calling it, past voodoo be damned. THEY ARE DONE! It's another great day to be a Brewers fan!
  11. Dillard talking about Javy Baez and his wonderful tagging ability. Years later, and this is still going on? geez...
  12. Traitor BA is doing the Phillies/Braves game on TNT. Loser.
  13. If so, this doesn't bug you? I'm confused.
  14. Doesn't help them when their only real offensive star, Julio Rodriguez, has been injured a lot this season, plus, when in the line-up, has completely gone in the tank. I have to guess his offensive woes are completely related to his injuries...
  15. The peeling plates in Wisconsin is ridiculous. I would think they want every car to have clear, legible plates. I honestly would think that the police would be pulling these cars over to advise them they need to get new plates, but that obviously isn't the case. Hit and runs, and other incidents makes it pretty important to have clear plates, but I guess it isn't a concern. I always wonder about the pitch dark window tinting too. When I was a new driver and into my 20's, I know there were laws against your windows being too dark. Seems those laws are gone, or completely ignored by law enforcement. I don't understand it. You'd think cops would be putting up a stink so they can be a lot safer during traffic stops, but I guess that isn't a concern either. As to the the part I quoted, I got my personalized plates online about 4 years ago. Did it all online, so the fact you can't do that now must be something new.
  16. Disney in general. has become a gross wart on our society. It's too bad really.
  17. Moncada? What has he done to generate even a small iota of interest. Are you guys still clinging to his prospect status? That ship has sailed. Hard pass on Moncada.
  18. Screw CC! I hope he is miserable in Chicago until that contract is done.
  19. Do they grill him, or do they ask him his favorite color on Thursdays?
  20. Bradley Blalock pitched 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball Sunday in the Rockies’ 3-2 defeat of the Padres. Blalock needed one more out for his first major league win; he was pulled from a 1-1 game in the top of the sixth before the Rockies came through with two runs in the bottom of the inning. As it turned out, Angel Chivilli got his first MLB victory instead. Blalock, who was acquired from the Brewers last month in the Nick Mears deal, has performed well in both of his starts for Colorado, giving up four runs in 11 1/3 innings.
  21. Happy to take one for the team...lol
  22. That's because as Brewers fans, we have become a little spoiled... We have actually become pretty used to winning, so I think that vibe is based on that.
  23. I'm benching his butt in both my fantasy leagues, so you can bet he throws a 6 inning gem, 8 K's, 0 runs...
