    Price won't be higher if he goes in the tank offensively. imo, now is a great time to look to move him, if we don't get the offers we want, we can always wait until the deadline and hope he is putting up numbers that a team like the Dodgers would be interested in. Dude knows he is playing for a contract, if he can't put it together for a full season in a contract year, I doubt we will get jack squat for him. I sincerely hope he is kicking butt all year so we have an opportunity to get something back, but it is all going to depend on the standings at the deadline... Also, if he doesn't have a great year, I want nothing to do with signing him in the off season if we don't trade him. NOTHING!

    If these guys would play better baseball, the manager wouldn't have to make so damn many tough decisions. Not excusing Murphy, he needs to make good decisions regardless, but right now, nothing is working. No hitting, terrible defense, questionable managerial decisions, etc. *enter fancy stats to prove we have stellar defense and top 10 hitting since the season started*

    Ok, I just checked, Metzinger was promoted from Wisconsin to Nashville. not Biloxi to Nashville. That makes more sense, since he never was promoted to Biloxi.

    Metzinger played for the T-Rats yesterday. He went from being with the T-Rats Saturday, to being promoted to Biloxi and Nashville all in less than 24 hours?

    DVD Collection update: Beetlejuice - Never really got the cult status or the hype for this one. Not even sure why I had it in my collection since I never cared for it to begin with. Watched it tonight, still didn't like it, it's a goner... The Blindside - Liked it when it came out, but the semi-recent controversy soured me this time through. Not yet sure if I'm keeping this one, will have to think on it... BIG - Classic movie, it's a keeper! Baby Driver - Really like this one! Keeper.

    I think he was always extremely lucky that we gave him a great bullpen to begin with. I think he was always over-rated because of his Wisconsin ties, which he chose to end. Any competent MLB manager could have done what he did with the bullpens he was given. He's the enemy now.

    If this turns out to be a non-serious injury, sending Wiemer to the IL or AAA is probably better for this team in the long run.

    I was wondering how he was handling the media, and how they are treating him. He was basically only given softball questions here, got off the hook on a constant basis by the company men/women paid to ask the questions. I'd like to watch him squirm with the Chicago media, but are they grilling him, or letting him slide?
