  1. I've been there only once, but it was a game day. The atmosphere is electric, and fun, even if you are a Brewers fan...lol
  2. Bad fantasy GMing? I am in 4 leagues, I am currently in 1st place in all 4 leagues. The league that I have Cruz, I'm 400+ points in the lead. In 2 of the other 3 leagues, I'm 300+ in the lead, and the final one I am 230 points in the lead. It's far from bad GMing... lol I was expecting him to be a top 10 fantasy SS at the very least. I was expecting him to average 2.8 points per game or in that window. Luckily, I didn't draft him that high. Defense has nothing to do with anything in fantasy baseball. At least not in my leagues. No points are scored for being a great defensive player, it's all about the offense. Offensively, Adames has Killed Cruz this year, and it isn't even close. Like I said, Cruz is the #23 fantasy SS in my leagues. He's been garbage. As far as when I mentioned fantasy, I said it in the same post, the second sentence. Is this really that difficult to comprehend? Meh, whatever.
  3. Again, I'm talking about from a fantasy baseball perspective. Not trying to be sneaky, said it twice, now for the third time, my post is based on fantasy baseball. Cruz is the #23 SS in my leagues. Adames is #9. It's a 12 team league, so I expected way more from him than the 23rd most points at the SS position. Adames has 320 points, Cruz has 222. Almost a 100 Point difference. I stand by my original statements, from a fantasy baseball perspective, Cruz has been garbage.
  4. My take is based on a fantasy baseball perspective. Dude is averaging 1.84 points per game. There are guys sitting on our WW with better numbers and more points. He's been a HUGE disappointment,
  5. Too bad a defensive move won't fix his awful offensive year... I've had this bum on a fantasy team all season, and he has been garbage.
  6. Meh, we still took the series...
  7. Nah, it's normal procedure for you, so I wanted you to know that some people notice your holier than thou attitude on these boards. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong, happens often. You made an attempt to make yourself look better than others, and it failed. I realize that you will have to have the last word and to feel you have won, so I'll give you the last word, but you do think you are better than most, and it's good for you to realize that it isn't true.
  8. Those disaster declarations were based on his past performance, and recent past performance as well. I don't think anyone needed to be called out, again, just your attempt at superiority.
  9. Yeah, that commet aged really well... In your effort to look superior to all the posters that didn't like the trade, you have now jinxed the guy. Thanks a lot.
  10. All fully warranted. He was garbage before getting to Milwaukee. I'm glad I was wrong, thrilled actually. Hopefully what we have seen the past couple of games is what we see from here on out. EDIT: I actually didn't even post my thoughts...lol But I was with the majority in thinking it was a pretty uneventful trade.
  11. Who hits more weak flyballs to the outfield than Frelick?
  12. Sure would like to see Ortiz creep up in that lineup, maybe switch him out for Frelick to start...
  13. Anyone have any insight as to why Blake Burke hasn't played since August 17th?
  14. Ummm, pretty sure some of these comments belong in a different thread.
  15. Bradley Blalock allowed two runs with five strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings in a win over the Yankees on Saturday. Blalock was solid against the Yankees on Saturday, holding them to two runs into the sixth inning. He walked two batters in the third inning before Jazz Chisholm brought a run in on a double. Alex Verdugo took Blalock deep for a solo homer in the fourth. He pitched into the sixth, leaving with a runner on and one out at 96 pitches. The 23-year-old right-hander will take a 3.06 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and an 11/8 K/BB ratio across 17 2/3 innings into a start against the Rockies in Colorado on Thursday.
  16. Which means we will hang 8 runs on him. That's how baseball works.
  17. THIS-THIS-THIS! Just because someone questions Murphy doesn't make them a Murphy hater. That line of thinking here just has to stop. It's asinine. People come here to complain that people complain about Murphy, or that the board has a lot of complainers.
  18. More DVD Purge, still not through the Bs... Blues Brothers - Classic and a definate keeper. Body of Evidence - Keeping this one, still find it interesting, and lots of naked Madonna...lol Boogie Nights - Thought I would dump this one, but ended up enjoying it enough to keep this time around. The Book Of Eli - Not a happy movie by any means but I always like the post-apocalyptic stuff... Bound - Another one I thought wouldn't make the cut, but decided to keep it.
  19. Dude, it's time to stop now. You're on an island here, don't allow yourself to drown.
  20. Hopefully Devin doesn't hit the IL tomorrow with some kind of injury.
  21. Carpenter is the last Cardinal I want stepping in there...lol
  22. C'mon Devin...Geez. After last night, you just knew this was probably a bad idea.
  23. It's going to be so much fun to watch this guy for the next decade...
