I'd let Lucroy and Salome battle it out and have Rivera as the backup or stop gap starter.

Bucks can't afford to tank anymore if they want to stay in Milwaukee. I don't think having massive amounts of cap room will really help us anyways either since we're not going to rake in any big FAs unless we overpay mediocre ones like Bobby Simmons. Getting a franchise player is pure luck. There is no use tanking in the lottery to get one.

I would. If Gerut is our starting CF next year because that means we're not even trying to contend. I have to disagree about him being a good pick up too. He's basically dead weight right now.

I don't think McGehee would bring that much back in a trade. Maybe as something to sweeten the with JJ or Corey but by himself I don't see us getting anything of much value. Rather keep him if he isn't included in a package than just see what we can get with him. I think he's could be a nice supersub and good guy off the bench.

I like the idea of trying Braun out in RF to see how he does. Billy/Cat/Gerut/McGehee can split time in left. Why not experiment?. -

I hate on Jody Gerut a lot but I don't know I'd say Corey Patterson is better than him. I hope we don't see significant action from either of them.

I like Warrick and think he'll fit with what we're trying to do as a team well. It's refreshing to actually have some sort of direction and style instead of randomly adding and removing pieces. It's not like some 6 year deal like we use to throw out to role players so whatever if it doesn't work out. I think Warrick still has some room to grow as a player with Skiles as his coach.. It'll be upsetting if they opted to sign Hakim instead of Sessions if it turns out that way though. Make the Knicks pay him full MLE at least. This will be a pretty big endorsement of Brandon Jennings if Sessions is let go. I'm optimistic about this season. I think we'll do better than expected and maybe compete for the 8th seed(which I know is nails on the chalkboard to the perpetual tanking crowd) Even if things turn out bad I think we could unload Redd and maybe Ridnour at the deadline providing they're healthy. I'm not "panac'd" about it.

I think it was the right move not to do anything stupid at the deadline and trade away a big time prospect for some rental but I think we should start exploring other options at GM after the season. I just don't think Melvin take us any further than he has with his team philosophy. He was the GM that brought us back to respectability and he deserves credit for that(not all of it) but it comes a time just as it was with Yost that you need to move forward. Unfortunately for us we don't have a GM in waiting anymore with Jack Z gone. I'm not as knowledgeable as some of you guys so what options do we have out there if we were to go in this direction?

Not really. Why did Kendall ask for a pitch inside there why? and why did Cameron over throw the cut off man there. Just a horrible game so many lapses mentally this game. Well, considering Gwynn is a better player than Gerut... It was a bad deal. Maybe Gwynn wouldn't of got the ABs he would of needed here to produce as he is in San Diego but he couldn't of been any worse than Ms. Jody has been for us.

Melvin should start getting some flack for his poorly put together pitching staff. There is no amount of coaching in the world that would make these guys good. I'd weigh options in the GM department. Maybe Deputy Braun should be taking over.
