    No, you don't have to pay the $40, you can try and raise the money if you don't want to pay it yourself. You also get to run the race, as well as get the race perks involved, the tech shirt, the finisher's medal and the free game ticket. But if you're not a runner and are in it solely for the bobble, I'd pay the price for the 10K instead of the half, though prices go up $10 after July 31.

    The Marathon website has a photo of the bobblehead, http://www.race-brewers.com/fundraising-incentives. The runner themselves don't have to donate the $40, they just have to raise $40 in donations. I see they offer packet pickup the morning of the race for $25, I ran the race the first year but living in the Fox Valley with no same day packet pickup my options were to either make the drive down two days in a row or get a hotel, so I skipped last year. With same day packet pickup offered I'm considering signing up.

    Great performance by Garza, earning that contract, exactly what the Brewers needed. Four game losing streak, offense only scores a run and able to give us a shutout win.

    When you have to get through 4 innings and your bullpen has one guy you can't use, and Rob Wooten, and 9 lefties, this is what happens. This was the perfect spot to try and get a couple of innings out of Fiers.

    Of course the guy who's batting .200 in Colorado leads off the inning with a hit against Kintzler. Why is he still in the majors let alone allowed to pitch in high leverage situations?

    It would be really nice if the top of the order could push a run across in the 9th, with no bench players left I don't like our chances in extra innings.

    I'm guessing the call to Thornburg was made before they realized Aram was hurt, no other explanation.

    Looked like he did all he could. You have to raise a leg. You slide the opposite way with your legs out towards foul territory and swipe the plate with your hand. If he does that there's no way the catcher would be able to tag him.

    What a horrible slide by Weeks, if he slides to the opposite side he's safe, he bent his leg towards the catcher allowing him to make the tag.

    Exactly what I thought when I heard he was warming up. I like him, but not a good spot to bring him in imo. It's not like we have any better options. There's K-Rod who won't come in unless it's a save situation and Duke and Wang.
