That's a pretty big club. But you have to be concerned with the short starts. The bullpen has been shaky already. A steady diet of Loe and Parra is not real appetizing. Oh, Marcum has definitely not been on his game, but it would be nice if the ump was good/consistent. Its Joe West...can you ever expect him to be consistent? Consistently bad maybe. Can't he just retire and go one being the crotchety old man he is elsewhere?

You can't overlay Ueck and Block audio on top of the Houston video? I guess not? I can go audio only, which I might here so that I'm less distracted. And to the earlier comment about delay on the at bat app. I get a little delay on mlb.tv too. I told my friends if they text me about the game to wait 5 seconds and then fire it over! Weird. I was under the impression you could, but I have never actually tried. I was hoping with no FSWI tv broadcast today, that I could get the game on my mlb.tv but its still blacked out even without a tv broadcast.

Agreed. Wouldn't have been a bad time for it. Roenicke even said earlier this season that Aoki would be his "righty bat" off the bench because he's so good against LHP

Gamel said he was on his own on that play... "We're on our own on that play," he said after watching a replay on Tuesday afternoon. "Lee's catch, throw, everything was perfect. If he's off even a little bit there, then that's the difference in the play at the plate. I probably don't even have to take the guy out. But, hey, it was perfect all the way around on their part." -

"Gamel was not sure if he would miss more than Tuesday's game. Manager Ron Roenicke hopes to have Gamel back; he's been one of the Brewers' most productive hitters so far, with a .281 average and six RBIs." (from mlb.com article) He did go for xrays after the game, so I would think there was some legitimate concern there. I firmly believe this is the only reason Ishikawa got the start. His previous start came when he was the only position player on the roster that hadn't gotten a start yet and Gamel had played every game at that point. -

I think that's going a little far. I can't imagine Gamel NOT being sore after a collision like that. I haven't seen anywhere that Gamel said he should've/could've played. He's giving a guy that's a little banged up a day or two off to heal up. Simple as that. -
Gomez's OPS now 1.020 after that PH HR. He should probably frame that stat sheet . Conversely, in a game where we busted out the sticks, Braun goes 0-5 with 6 LOB and a GIDP. You just never know
